TCGplayer and Legend Story Studios Announce New Direct-to-Consumer Campaign to Benefit Local Hobby Stores

SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 17, 2022 – TCGplayer, the leading technology platform for the collectibles industry and operator of the largest online marketplace for trading card games, today announced a new direct-to-consumer (D2C) campaign with Legend Story Studios — the creators of the Flesh and Blood TCG – designed to benefit local hobby stores. In connection with this campaign, Legend Story Studios has released limited edition and exclusive Flesh and Blood products on the TCGplayer Marketplace. The new Uprising themed campaign builds on a series of successful D2C campaigns, which have allowed TCGplayer and Legend Story Studios to award $275,000 to retailers to date. Consistent with previous D2C campaigns, TCGplayer will manage all marketing, fulfillment and customer service efforts on behalf of Legend Story Studios, and each product sale will be credited to a participating local hobby store.

As part of the direct-to-consumer campaign, TCGplayer and Legend Story Studios have created the TCGplayer Uprising Legendary Dragon Collection Box, which includes two Uprising booster boxes, limited edition Dragon Shield card sleeves, and exclusive products like rainbow foil promo cards, display boxes and certificates — available only on the TCGplayer Marketplace. The box will be available for sale on the Marketplace today at 12:00 pm ET, a week ahead of the official set release.
