Top Selling Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards on TCGplayer: August 2025
By Peter Day •
The first step to serving customer demand is to understand it. So to help you follow what’s currently popular with players and collectors, we’ve put together a pair of downloadable CSV reports of the top-selling Yu-Gi-Oh! cards of the past month.
These reports show the name and set of the Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with the highest total number of copies sold on the TCGplayer Marketplace between August 1 and 31, 2025. The reports consider cards from different sets to be distinct (even if they have the same name), but do not distinguish copies sold by condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.) or by printing (Foil, etc.).
The two reports cover cards that had an average sale price in August within two ranges: $50.00 or more, and $1.00 to $49.99.
Here are five highlights from each report.
Top Selling Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards: $50 or More
#1 Dracotail Faimena (Starlight Rare)
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $57.18
Justice Hunters completely rewrote the format when it released on August 1. While all three of the themes it introduced have seen major competitive and commercial success, Dracotail and Yummy have managed to outsell K9 overall by having more in-archetype cards that are necessary for their respective decks.
Dracotail Faimena plays a crucial role in helping Dracotail decks do what they want to do—Fusion Summon Dragons and Spellcasters—by serving as either the Fusion spell or material. She’s a mandatory three-of in any Dracotail deck, so her Starlight Rare version is one of Justice Hunter’s key chase cards.
#2 Dominus Purge
Set: The Infinite Forbidden
Average Sale Price: $55.66
Dark, Water, and Fire decks can’t play Dominus Purge without hurting themselves. But the card’s ability to negate a search and potentially destroy the offending card has made Dominus Purge more or less mandatory in any decks that can handle that restriction, including the Yummy deck that won YCS Vancouver. And unlike other staple cards introduced in 2024 like Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Dominus Purge wasn’t reprinted in Quarter Century Stampede. Players have only one version of Dominus Purge to choose from unless they want to shell out $250 for the Quarter Century Secret Rare copy.
#3 CupsyYummy (Starlight Rare)
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $56.14
CupsyYummy summons itself and searches up other in-archetype cards, making it a key piece of the Yummy archetype that player/collectors would love to have in Starlight Rare form.
#4 Rahu Dracotail (CR)
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $51.00
Rahu Dracotail lets players Fusion Summon Dracotail Monsters using Monsters from the deck as material. Since there isn’t a Starlight Rare version of this card in Justice Hunters, this Collector’s Rare version is the rarest option available to Dracotails who want their decks to shine.
#5 YummySnatchy (Starlight Rare)
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $55.69
YummySnatchy is so critical in competitive Yummy decks that it gets played as a three-of in the Extra Deck. Which is why this Starlight Rare is currently the most expensive card in the Yummy archetype.
Top Selling Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards: $1.00 to $49.99
#1 Dracotail Faimena
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $12.15
Dracotail Faimena is so crucial to Dracotail decks that its base version costs double digits, and it’s still one of the bestselling cards of the month.
#2 Dracotail Mululu
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $8.12
Dracotail Mululu does the same fusion-substitution trick as Faimena, with a few more restrictions. That’s still enough to make it a three-of in Dracotail decks.
#3 Dracotail Lukias
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $8.96
Dracotail Lukias searches out other Dracotail Monsters, often grabbing Faimena for a quick Fusion Summon.
#4 Dracotail Arthalion
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $5.60
Dracotail Arthalion is the in-archetype monster you’ll be Fusion Summoning with Faimena most often. It then bounces opposing threats or gets you back some of the cards you spent to summon it, all while attacking for 3000.
#5 CupsyYummy
Set: Justice Hunters
Average Sale Price: $10.37
The base version of this card holds an impressive price tag that anyone who wants to play a Yummy deck has to pay.
