TCGplayer is excited to introduce free tracking for eligible single-windowed envelope orders! This will make it easier for you to ship orders $49.99 and below with greater confidence, while gaining access to additional protections.
This service will be available for all sellers and does not impact the previously expanded TCGplayer Safeguard Protections, which have a 1,000 minimum order requirement. To qualify for additional seller protections, the order must complete at least one scan event at a USPS facility.
Track More of Your Orders
Starting November 2, 2026, the new free tracked-envelope packing slip will gradually become available to sellers, with all sellers having access by November 6, 2026. Once available, sellers shipping orders $49.99 and below to verified, domestic U.S. addresses can select this option within the new Orders page experience.
How it works:
- Select an eligible order. In the new Orders page experience, choose the new tracked packing slip for a single-windowed envelope order $49.99 and below with a verified, domestic U.S. address.
- Print your packing slip. TCGplayer automatically generates a USPS Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) on the packing slip. Select ‘packing slip with tracking’ from the dropdown in the Seller Portal. You can print slips individually or in bulk.
- Prepare your envelope. Place the folded packing slip inside a compatible single-windowed envelope, ensuring the barcode is properly positioned and visible. Apply your normal postage.
- Ship your order. When USPS records at least one scan event at a USPS facility, the order can receive additional seller protection against claims of non-delivery.
Please note: Tracked envelopes are available in the new Orders page experience. If you are still using the older user experience, simply toggle to the new experience at the top of the Orders page to access this feature.
What This Means For You
Tracked envelopes make it easier for you to ship orders $49.99 and below with greater confidence, while gaining access to additional protections.
- Simplify your shipping workflow. Generate tracked packing slips directly from the new Orders page experience, individually or in bulk, without relying on third-party tracking services.
- Get tracking visibility. TCGplayer generates a free USPS IMb code for eligible orders, while you continue to provide your own postage.
- Access additional seller protections. Single-windowed envelope orders $49.99 and below with a verified, domestic U.S. address can receive additional protection against claims of non-delivery when USPS records at least one qualifying scan event, even if you haven’t reached the existing 1,000 order seller protection threshold.
- Keep buyers updated. Buyers can see whether their order includes tracking in their order confirmation email or order history. Tracking information will not be displayed during checkout.
While tracked envelopes provide additional visibility, USPS scan events are not guaranteed and some envelopes may not receive any scans. Because USPS letter mail does not receive a final doorstep delivery scan, tracked envelopes do not provide delivery confirmation. Orders that require tracked shipping or delivery confirmation must continue to use an eligible tracked shipping service as outlined in the TCGplayer Safeguard. Orders that cannot be shipped in an envelope are not eligible for this service.
