Expanded TCGplayer Safeguard Protection for Sellers
By Carling Berkhout •
We’re excited to share some good news: the TCGplayer Safeguard is expanding to cover qualifying untracked marketplace orders for eligible sellers!
Starting today, sellers with 1,000 or more lifetime orders who are based in the United States (including U.S. territories) will be eligible for coverage on untracked orders.
How It Works
When a qualifying untracked order is reported as missing by a buyer, eligible sellers can provide the buyer with a full refund and then request coverage by escalating the order message thread or contacting us. If the request qualifies, the seller will receive a credit for the order. For more information about coverage for untracked orders, including eligibility requirements and how to submit a request, review the TCGplayer Safeguard.
Check Your Eligibility
Navigate to the Seller Portal home page. In the “Feedback” table, find the “Count” row under the “Lifetime” column to see your total number of sales.
This update is an important step in our ongoing work to strengthen seller protections and improve the shipping experience on TCGplayer. We hear your feedback and are committed to supporting your business, which is why we’re also working on a solution to support plain white envelope tracking. In the meantime, we intend to keep this new coverage in place for eligible sellers until we’re able to roll out an improved tracking solution for all sellers.
