Bestselling Trading Card Games, Q4 2025

With 2026 rapidly approaching, now’s a good time to look back on the state of the TCG market in the fourth quarter of 2025.

All the information below is drawn from TCGplayer Marketplace sales data between October 1 and December 15, 2025.

With no new booster sets for Yu-Gi-Oh! during the time period covered in this report, and with One Piece getting back-to-back bangers in The Best Vol. 2 and Carrying On His Will, One Piece officially outsold Yu-Gi-Oh in October and November. Yu-Gi-Oh might rebound once Phantom Revenge releases this Friday, but if it doesn’t close the distance, we might need to redefine the traditional Big Three of Magic, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh to make room for the new #3 game.

Just below them, Riftbound enjoyed a tremendously successful debut, sending last quarter’s rookie game Gundam down a few pegs.

Top 5 Bestselling Sets (GMV)

These are the bestselling TCG sets of Q4 2025 by the total dollar value of all sales (all card singles and sealed products combined).

Note that this ranking only considers sets that were released during Q4 2025. Subsets and side-sets (like Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal) were counted toward the GMV of their respective main sets.

This quarter, broadly playable Pokémon cards completely took over the Top 10 as more players bought into the game, which remains the most affordable competitive TCG on the market. Meanwhile, Commander continued to drive sales for the largest segment of Magic buyers. Electro, Assaulting Battery combos with all the firebending commanders from Avatar: The Last Airbender, many of whom like Fire Lord Azula and Avatar Aang are among the most popular commanders in the set.
