Bestselling Trading Card Games - Q3 2025

With September coming to a close, now’s a good time to look back on the state of the TCG market in the third quarter of 2025.

All the information below is drawn from TCGplayer sales data between July 1 and September 28, 2025.

The top four games are in a league of their own, and remain locked in their respective positions. It’s worth noting however that the gap between One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh is shrinking.

Gundam enjoyed a spectacular debut this quarter, outselling every game outside of the top four. Its presence pushes Cardfight!! Vanguard out of the Top 10. Finally, Star Wars: Unlimited and Flesh and Blood swapped places this quarter, possibly due to excitement around the former’s first Galactic Championship.

Top 5 Bestselling Sets

These are the bestselling TCG sets of Q3 2025 by the total dollar value of all sales (all card singles and sealed products combined).

Note that this ranking only considers sets that were released during Q3 2025. Subsets and side-sets (like Edge of Eternities: Stellar Sights) were counted toward the GMV of their respective main sets.

Separately, Black Bolt and White Flare landed below Mega Evolution in the rankings. But when considered together, the split expansion just barely edges out Marvel’s Spider-Man for the #2 spot.

Gundam’s debut set managed to outsell One Piece set Legacy of the Master and Yu-Gi-Oh set Justice Hunters.

Commander continues to drive sales for the largest segment of Magic buyers. Competitive Trainer cards that can go into any Pokémon deck sell in high volumes as well.

Secreterion Dragon is our one oddball on the list, as a Yu-Gi-Oh card that sees relatively little play and only in a specific archetype. A wide swath of Yu-Gi-Oh players appears to have stocked up on this card in July, anticipating that it would become a staple if Dracotail decks from Justice Hunters took over the format.
