Top Selling Sealed Products: July 2026

Choosing which sealed products to invest in is an important decision for your business. The right products can yield big returns for your business in just a few transactions, but the wrong products can be a serious burden on your cash flow.

To help you pick the right products more often, we compiled a pair of reports looking at the top selling sealed products on TCGplayer last month. These reports will show you which sets are most popular with players and collectors right now, so you can anticipate which products will be easy to sell online.

These reports list the top 100 sealed TCG products between July 1 and 31, 2026 by two metrics: GMV (the total amount of money that buyers spent), and quantity (the total number of units sold).

Below, we’ve highlighted five of those products for each report. These products were chosen by starting from the top of each overall list and going down, taking the top product of each game that hadn’t been highlighted yet. The products are ordered below according to their overall rank in the full reports.

Top Selling Sealed Products by GMV

#1 Pitch Black Booster Box
Game: Pokémon.
Set: Pitch Black.
Released: July 17, 2026.
Average Product Value: $216.25.

Magic: The Gathering didn’t have a major release in July, so Pokémon got to claim the title of the month’s biggest new set uncontested.

While 1st place looks impressive, the legacy of Pitch Black may not be so bright. The prices of Pitch Black singles tumbled immediately after the set’s release—which is normal for any TCG set, but feels unusual given how bullish the Pokémon market has been so far in 2026. That tumble, combined with a restock on Perfect Order booster boxes, has made the market more pessimistic about Pokémon sets from the past 12 months, as it seems the supply on these still-in-print sets has finally caught up with the demand.

The upshot is, at time of writing the Market Price of a Pitch Black Booster Box is down to $175 and dropping.

#2 The Hobbit - Collector Booster Display

Game: Magic: The Gathering.
Set: The Hobbit.
Released: August 14, 2026.
Average Product Value: $805.93.

Magic players and collectors are keenly aware of how wildly popular The Lord of the Rings set was. So everyone with money to spend has been getting in on The Hobbit as early as possible, sending Collector Displays for the set to this month’s #2 position on presales alone.

#3 Carrying On His Will - Booster Box

Game: One Piece Card Game.
Set: Carrying On His Will.
Released: November 7, 2025.
Average Product Value: $404.77.

In June, Bandai delivered the wave of Carrying On His Will (OP-13) Booster Box reprints they promised at the start of 2026. The flow of new supply continued through July, generating tons of sales.

On the one hand were buyers who had missed out on OP-13 back when boxes were under $200, and who were eager to buy into the set during this most recent (possibly last) reprint and price drop. On the other hand were speculators who had bought into OP-13 back in 2025, who were eager to lock in their gains before the wave of new supply washed them all away. Both groups are also likely motivated to sell or buy this anniversary set ahead of the release of The World’s Strongest Warriors (OP-17) in August, which will be the One Piece Card Game’s 4th anniversary set.

#4 Chaos Origins Booster Box [1st Edition]

Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: Chaos Origins.
Released: July 3, 2026.
Average Product Value: $74.66.

Yu-Gi-Oh! had the second-biggest new set of July behind Pokémon, narrowly edging out Gundam. Like the game’s earlier success story of 2026, Rarity Collection V, Chaos Origins features extended art cards which fetch as much as three figures. The set also introduced tons of support for nostalgic archetypes associated with Yugi, in a slam-dunk combination of playability and collectibility.

#5 Freedom Ascension Booster Box

Game: Gundam Card Game.
Set: Freedom Ascension.
Released: July 24, 2026.
Average Product Value: $184.39.

For Gundam’s first anniversary set, Bandai once again pulled out all the stops. Fans have eight C+ EX Resource cards to chase, as well as five LR++ cards instead of the usual two, all of which are going for four figures. This will likely be the biggest Gundam set of 2026.

Top Selling Sealed Products by Quantity

#1 Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box

Game: Pokémon.
Set: Pitch Black.
Released: July 17, 2026.
Average Product Value: $86.77.

The demand for Pitch Black ETBs was wide, with buyers only picking up an average of 1.3 boxes each. That so many people were looking to pick up a single ETB speaks to how this product has effectively replaced the booster box as the “default” way to enjoy a new Pokémon set, especially when so many fans are priced out of booster boxes.

That said, this product is feeling the same drag as other Pitch Black products. At time of writing, Pitch Black ETBs are down to $75—”just” 50% over MSRP.

#2 Chaos Origins Booster Box [1st Edition]

Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: Chaos Origins.
Released: July 3, 2026.
Average Product Value: $74.66.

On the other hand, the fact that buyers picked up an average of 1.9 Chaos Origins Booster Boxes each speaks to how much confidence Konami has inspired that their newest highly collectible cards will retain their value. Either established players are excited to rip packs and try to find Starlight Rare Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos, or speculators think that those players will be excited to do so in the future.
