Top Selling Sealed Product Right Now — 07/02/2025
By Peter Day •
Choosing which sealed products to invest in is an important decision for your business. The right products can yield big returns for your business in just a few transactions, but the wrong products can be a serious burden on your cash flow.
To help you pick the right products more often, we compiled a report of the top selling sealed products on TCGplayer last month. This report will show you which sets are most popular with players and collectors right now, so you can anticipate which products will be easy to sell online.
The report lists the top 100 sealed TCG products by total GMV between June 1 and 30, 2025. Below, we’ve highlighted five of those products. These products were chosen by starting from the top of the overall list and going down, taking the top product of each game that hadn’t been highlighted yet. The five products are ordered below according to their overall rank in the full report.
#1 FINAL FANTASY - Collector Booster Display
Game: Magic: The Gathering.
Set: FINAL FANTASY.
Released: June 13, 2025.
Average Product Value: $627.14.
FINAL FANTASY takes the top spot for the second month in a row.
Back on April 24, Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks announced to investors that FINAL FANTASY was already the bestselling Magic: The Gathering set of all time based on preorders alone. Even in May, FINAL FANTASY Play Booster Displays, Collector Booster Displays, and Commander Deck Displays were each outselling all other sealed products on the platform The difference between FINAL FANTASY and everything else has only grown more stark since the set officially released a few weeks ago.
Following the same playbook that made Tales of Middle-Earth so successful, Wizards of the Coast held absolutely nothing back with this set, and turned absolutely every fan-favorite character, inside joke, and meme-worthy moment in the franchise into its own card (or several). The result feels like three or more sets merged into one—partly because it is—and the sheer density of cards made to appeal to every segment of the fanbase ensures that everyone with a passing interest in Magic or Final Fantasy wants this set.
Compared to last month, the only noteworthy change is that Collector Booster Displays have overtaken Play Booster Displays, as expected. Sales of Play Booster Displays were elevated in May thanks to a Treasure Trove deal on May 16 when a seller listed thousands of units for $144.99.
#2 Destined Rivals Booster Box
Game: Pokémon TCG.
Set: Destined Rivals.
Released: May 30, 2025.
Average Product Value: $246.99.
Destined Rivals also repeated its performance from May, as Pokémon kept its place in the 2nd place slot behind Magic: The Gathering.
Destined Rivals continues the parade of Trainer’s Pokémon cards that started with Journey Together, but fans are more excited than they were for Journey Together because the set also includes English versions of the Team Rocket’s Pokémon cards that debuted in Japan’s The Glory of Team Rocket. These are obviously attractive to more casual fans who are nostalgic for Gen I and II, but they’re extra appealing to fans with fond memories of the Dark Pokémon and Rocket’s Pokémon cards from the early years of the TCG.
Destined Rivals is also a larger set than Journey Together, as it also includes cards from the Japanese set Heat Wave Arena. That larger size lowers the odds of pulling any specific card, making the chase cards even rarer and helping them hold their value.
#3 A Fist of Divine Speed Booster Box
Game: One Piece Card Game.
Set: A Fist of Divine Speed.
Released: June 6, 2025.
Average Product Value: $128.64.
As predicted last month, the A Fist of Divine Speed Booster Box overtook the Extra Booster: Anime 25th Collection Box to become the highest grossing One Piece sealed product of June, while also keeping One Piece in the 3rd place slot behind Magic and Pokémon.
A Fist of Divine Speed continues the tradition of One Piece sets having wildly valuable chase cards. While the SP cards don’t quite reach the heights of sets like Emperors in the New World, the two reprints of OP05-199 Luffy are over $1,000 for the “normal” version and over $2,000 for the gold version.
#4 Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem Booster Box
Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem.
Released: June 13, 2025.
Average Product Value: $56.74
The new Battles of Legend set pushed Yu-Gi-Oh into the #4 slot this month ahead of Pokémon Japan (though it may have helped that this month’s Japanese Pokémon release was a split set, as covered below). Battles of Legend contains “chibi” monster variants originally printed in Japan as part of a collaboration with 7-Eleven, along with important reprints for the popular and powerful Primite archetype, and new support for the popular-though-less-powerful Dragonmaid archetype.
#5 Black Bolt Booster Box
Game: Pokémon Japan.
Set: Black Bolt.
Released: June 6, 2025.
Average Product Value: $95.80.
The Japanese sets Black Bolt and White Flare (not to be confused with their international equivalents with the same names, which will release later in July) are effectively sequels to 2023’s insanely popular 151 set. Marketed and released together, Black Bolt and White Flare together contain all (and only) the 156 Pokémon from the Unova Pokédex—i.e. the Gen V Pokémon introduced in the 2011 video games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.
While Gen V doesn’t carry the same kind of nostalgia for most Pokémon fans as Gen I, the prospect of collecting an entire Pokédex from just two sets is expected to make the international versions of Black Bolt and White Flare into huge hits. The Japanese sets show Black Bolt slightly outselling White Flare, possibly because it contains the Special Art Rare version of Kyurem, the third member of the Tao Trio. Expect that to carry over into the international versions of Black Bolt and White Flare if, as expected, their set lists are more or less identical to their Japanese counterparts.
