Top Selling Sealed Product Right Now — 04/08/2025

Choosing which sealed products to invest in is an important decision for your business. The right products can yield big returns for your business in just a few transactions, but the wrong products can be a serious burden on your cash flow.

To help you pick the right products more often, we compiled a report of the top selling sealed products on TCGplayer last month. This report will show you which sets are most popular with players and collectors right now, so you can anticipate which products will be easy to sell online.

The report lists the top 100 sealed TCG products by total GMV between March 1 and 31, 2025. Below, we’ve highlighted five of those products. These products were chosen by starting from the top of the overall list and going down, taking the top product of each game that hadn’t been highlighted yet. The five products are ordered below according to their overall rank in the full report.

#1 Tarkir: Dragonstorm - Play Booster Display

Game: Magic: The Gathering.
Set: Tarkir: Dragonstorm.
Released: April 11, 2025.
Average Product Value: $109.13.

Compared to the muted reception for Aetherdrift, the fan response to Tarkir: Dragonstorm has been much more enthusiastic. Older and more enfranchised players who remember the beloved Khans of Tarkir block 10 years ago are thrilled to see so many homages to classic characters and cards like Siege Rhinos. But newer and more casual fans aren’t complaining either—they’re getting a whole Magic set focused on Dragons, full of splashy Commander bombs like Dracogenesis.

The MTG community’s love for Tarkir and Dragons (together with a Treasure Trove promotion on March 27, when a seller listed displays for $102.99) has pushed Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Booster Displays into the top spot before the set has even released.

#2 Journey Together Booster Box

Game: Pokémon TCG.
Set: Journey Together.
Released: March 28, 2025.
Average Product Value: $234.07.

Just behind Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Booster Displays in March were Journey Together Booster Boxes. The Pokémon TCG market is still superheated from the surge in interest after the release of Pokémon TCG Pocket, which has resulted in these booster boxes never dropping to less than $30 over MSRP. But Journey Together still missed the top spot this month, for a couple reasons.

First, Journey Together isn’t inspiring the same level of fervor in collectors as Prismatic Evolutions and Surging Sparks did, thanks to having slightly more generous pull rates and fewer Special Illustration Rare cards to chase (none of which rhyme with Shmikachu or Shmeevee). Second, Journey Together marks the first Pokémon set with two booster box-style products: the normal Booster Box above, and the Enhanced Booster Box, which comes with the same number of packs plus a box-topper promo. This additional product at a similar price point has split the Pokémon audience, though not in the way you’d expect. The Enhanced Box actually has a lower Market Price at time of writing, suggesting that The Pokémon Company hasn’t done enough to educate their audience on this new product.

#3 Royal Blood Booster Box

Game: One Piece Card Game.
Set: Royal Blood
Released: March 21, 2025.
Average Product Value: $129.21.

One Piece continues to put boxes into the monthly list of top-selling sealed products. In March, that box was for the most recent set, Royal Blood, which feels like a return to normalcy after the tidal wave of Manga Rare cards in Emperors in the New World. By contrast, Royal Blood doesn’t look as desirable for collectors and players don’t expect it to have much impact on the format, so it “only” contains three cards over $100 (including the $450 Trafalgar Law Manga Rare).

#4 Battle Partners Booster Box

Game: Pokémon Japan.
Set: Battle Partners.
Released: January 24, 2025.
Average Product Value: $81.93.

With English Pokémon TCG products going for astronomical prices, many collectors have opted to collect Japanese instead. Battle Partners is the Japanese equivalent of Journey Together, and boxes are still relatively affordable, which may explain why they’re currently outselling boxes of the more recent Japanese Pokémon set, Heat Wave Arena. Most likely, they’ll both be usurped by The Glory of Team Rocket when that set releases later in April.

#5 Jump to Lightspeed Carbonite Edition - Booster Display

Game: Star Wars: Unlimited.
Set: Jump to Lightspeed.
Released: March 14, 2025.
Average Product Value: $285.28.

Like Pokémon, Star Wars: Unlimited also introduced a new Booster Box product for their March set, Jump to Lightspeed. Much like collector booster packs in Magic: The Gathering, Carbonite Edition packs are premium products and consist entirely of special versions of cards from the main set, including Prestige cards, which can’t be found in regular packs.

Carbonite packs have proven to be immensely popular with collectors (many of whom are also players), which has helped Carbonite boxes hold their value better than regular boxes. At time of writing, the former’s Market Price is just $15 below their MSRP of $300, while the latter’s Market Price is $45 below their MSRP of $120.
