Top Selling Sealed Product Right Now — 03/05/2025

Choosing which sealed products to invest in is an important decision for your business. The right products can yield big returns for your business in just a few transactions, but the wrong products can be a serious burden on your cash flow.

To help you pick the right products more often, we compiled a report of the top selling sealed products on TCGplayer last month. This report will show you which sets are most popular with players and collectors right now, so you can anticipate which products will be easy to sell online.

The report lists the top 100 sealed TCG products by total GMV between February 1 and 28, 2025. Below, we’ve highlighted five of those products. These products were chosen by starting from the top of the overall list and going down, taking the top product of each game that hadn’t been highlighted yet. The five products are ordered below according to their overall rank in the full report.

#1 Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

Game: Pokémon TCG.
Set: Prismatic Evolutions.
Released: January 17, 2025.
Average Product Value: $117.01.

Prismatic Evolutions has taken the top spot for the second month in a row, with Elite Trainer Boxes continuing to sell for well over double MSRP.

Like its Japanese counterpart Terastal Festival ex, Prismatic Evolutions combines the appeal of a traditional reprint-heavy special set with the tantalizing prospect of collecting high-rarity versions of every single Eeveelution (plus Eevee itself). That pitch—basically Crown Zenith meets Evolving Skies—together with a sudden influx of new collectors brought in by Pokémon TCG Pocket, has resulted in massive product shortages and runaway prices.

The Pokémon Company International has promised that another wave of Prismatic Evolutions products is on the way. Fans and retailers alike are hoping the next wave arrives soon, because the new Pokémon set Journey Together will release on March 28. If TPCi has to underprint Journey Together to catch up with the demand for Prismatic Evolutions, we may be looking at more product shortages and sky-high prices for that set as well.

#2 Battle Partners Booster Box

Game: Pokémon Japan.
Set: Battle Partners
Released: January 24, 2025.
Average Product Value: $88.71.

With the prices of English Pokémon cards and sealed prices hitting unprecedented heights, many collectors have turned to Japanese Pokémon cards instead. Even factoring in the costs associated with importing Japanese products, Japanese sets offer collectors a more cost-effective way to collect cards thanks to their more generous and predictable pull rates.

Battle Partners brings Trainer’s Pokémon back to the TCG with Special Art Rare cards featuring Lillie & Clefairy and Iono & Bellibolt, among other partner pairs. We’ll be getting most of these cards in English in Journey Together, which releases on March 28.

#3 Blue-Eyes White Destiny Structure Deck

Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: Structure Deck: Blue-Eyes White Destiny
Released: February 14, 2025.
Average Product Value: $15.85.

The fact that a $15 non-randomized product managed to outgross every MTG Booster Box in February, despite costing a fraction of their price, should tell you how popular it is. The Blue-Eyes White Destiny Structure Deck gives meaningful support to one of the most beloved archetypes of all time, and as The Infinite Forbidden demonstrated last year, Yu-Gi-Oh sets do best when they arm nostalgic anime themes with the tools to compete.

#4 Aetherdrift - Collector Booster Display

Game: Magic: The Gathering.
Set: Aetherdrift.
Released: February 14, 2025.
Average Product Value: $250.52.

The latest Magic: The Gathering set on the other hand feels a bit soft for the granddaddy of TCGs. Many fans were lukewarm on the racing theme, which was too silly and incongruous for long-time Magic fans, and had too many MTG-specific elements for casual fans. That combined with a general drop in power level compared to 2024 sets like Duskmourn has caused Aetherdrift to underperform compared to other recent Magic releases.

Judging by their relentless marketing, Wizards of the Coast is eager to skip over the upcoming Tarkir: Dragonstorm set and get straight to the Universes Beyond sets coming in the second half of the year.

#5 Emperors in the New World - Booster Box

Game: One Piece Card Game.
Set: Emperors in the New World.
Released: December 13, 2024.
Average Product Value: $142.15.

The One Piece Card Game continues to earn its place on this list, even though no new sets have been released since December.

Emperors in the New World leans even harder into the alternate-art treatments that have made previous One Piece sets so beloved by collectors and valuable for retailers, with 4 Manga Rare cards instead of the usual 1, and the first-ever Gold Manga Rare card for the most influential character in the One Piece universe.

At time of writing, a staggering 13 cards from this set have a Market Price over $100 (four more than last month), and one of them has broken $3k. Fans know these boxes hold treasure inside, and they’re willing to pay what it takes to claim their share of the loot.
