Top Selling Pokémon Sets Right Now – 11/19/2025

Deciding how much capital to invest in each new TCG set is one of the hardest decisions that comes with running a game store. We want to make that decision easier, so we’ve compiled a report of the bestselling Pokémon sets this month. This report will show you which Pokémon sets are still in high demand months or years after their release, so you can better anticipate what the demand will be for upcoming sets.

The report lists the top 100 Pokémon TCG sets, ranked by the total GMV of all sales (sealed and singles) on the TCGplayer Marketplace between October 18 and November 16, 2025. As a quick preview, here are the ten sets at the very top of the list:

Top 10 Bestselling Pokémon Sets

Except where noted otherwise, you can assume that the bestselling cards for each set were more or less identical to its most expensive cards.

#10 Black Bolt
Released: July 18, 2025.

The Zekrom half of the Black Bolt/White Flare split set release. Black Bolt sold slightly better than White Flare, possibly due to having a Seismitoad card illustrated by Shinji Kanda. Many of Kanda’s other full-art cards like Magikarp have gone on to be worth hundreds of dollars.

#9 Paldean Fates
Released: January 26, 2024.

It’s no surprise that Paldean Fates is still popular given its ludicrously huge list of cards to collect and the community’s affection for its top Special Illustration Rares, especially “Bubble Mew.”

#8 Surging Sparks
Released: November 8, 2024.

Surging Sparks has returned to the Top 10 for a surprising reason. In late August, Costco started selling a Surging Sparks bundle containing a Surging Sparks Elite Trainer Box and a Booster Bundle. Those products flooded onto TCGplayer, causing ETB prices to plummet from ~$90 to ~$70, and causing purchases to spike as fans rushed to take advantage of the downturn.

#7 Scarlet & Violet Promo Cards
Released: March 31, 2023 - Present

Promo cards from sealed products have continued to sell well as those products have become harder to find and more popular to leave unopened. The bestsellers this month were:

#6 Scarlet & Violet—151
Released: September 22, 2023.

151 will likely go down as the best Pokémon set of the decade. Putting every single Gen I Pokémon (and only Gen I Pokémon) in the same set is a gimmick so obvious it’s kind of brilliant, and The Pokémon Company has already started trying to replicate 151’s success with Black Bolt and White Flare. So far, they haven’t managed to top it.

#5 Destined Rivals
Released: May 30, 2025.

All the Team Rocket cards in Destined Rivals allow the set to target Gen I nostalgia in a way that feels fresh, even so soon after the release of 151. In a normal year, this could have been the biggest set of 2025.

#4 Prismatic Evolutions
Released: January 17, 2025.

Prismatic Evolutions surpassed all expectations for a Pokémon set not named “151,” driving record-high sales and record-high singles prices. Those prices have cooled significantly, but they’ve got a long way to go before they can be considered affordable.

#3 Miscellaneous Cards & Products
Released: December 1998 - Present.

The “Miscellaneous Cards & Products” set contains a wide range of items from across the history of the Pokémon TCG that don’t belong anywhere else, so it tends to rank on breadth of sales alone.

This month the top-selling items by GMV included the Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection which is expected to be the hottest Pokémon product of the holiday season, and the Mega Evolution-stamped Bulbasaur 133 card that comes included with Mega Evolution Enhanced Booster Boxes. Like the stamped version of N’s Reshiram from the Journey Together Enhanced Booster Box that was selling at high volume in August, the average number of Bulbasaur copies per buyer was elevated this month at over 4.5, suggesting speculation.

#2 Phantasmal Flames
Released: November 14, 2025.

Phantasmal Flames was in presales for almost the entire time period covered in this report, but so many Pokémon fans carry a torch for Charizard that their anticipation was enough to push Phantasmal Flames to the #2 spot.

#1 Mega Evolution
Released: September 26, 2025.

As the most recent Pokémon set during October and the first half of November, Mega Evolution understandably got the most attention during that period. Enhanced Booster Boxes sold the best of all the MEG sealed products by a significant margin, which ties into the strong sales we saw around the Bulbasaur card included in those boxes.
