Top Selling Pokémon Cards on TCGplayer: September 2026

The first step to serving customer demand is to understand it. So to help you follow what’s currently popular with players and collectors, we’ve put together a pair of downloadable CSV reports of the top-selling Pokémon cards of the past month.

These reports show the name and set of the Pokémon cards with the highest total number of copies sold on the TCGplayer Marketplace between September 1 and 30, 2026. The reports consider cards from different sets to be distinct (even if they have the same name), but do not distinguish copies sold by condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.) or by printing (Foil, etc.).

The two reports cover cards that had an average sale price in September within two ranges: $50.00 or more, and $1.00 to $49.99.

Here are five highlights from each report.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $50 or More

#1 Pikachu ex - 150/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $76.61

30th Celebration released on September 16 worldwide, and quickly dominated the conversation among Pokémon fans—as well as the top 13 spots on our list of best-sellers over $50.

At the top, we have the two Special Illustration Rare Pikachu ex which feature cameos from most of the notable Pokémon in 30th Celebration. The Night version appears to be most fans’ favorite of the two, with more sales and a higher Market Price.

#2 Pikachu ex - 149/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $62.05

It’s followed closely by the Day version of SIR Pikachu ex.

#3 Jirachi ex - 155/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $89.39

Jirachi was an early breakout star of 30th Celebration, for a tragic reason: it was one of the last cards pulled by 12-year-old Pokémon influencer Avery The Poke Kid, who died of cancer last month. The moment drew attention from gaming outlets and the card’s artist AKIRA EGAWA, which increased the demand for the card.

#4 Mewtwo ex - 157/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $87.92

The Pokémon Company started teasing Futuristic Rare Mew and Mewtwo from 30th Celebration even before they revealed the set’s name. Once the cards were actually available (and less expensive than their super-hyped rarity would suggest) fans were eager to pick them up.

#5 Sylveon ex - 153/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $69.33

Sylveon narrowly managed to out-sell other Special Illustration Rare cards from 30th Celebration like Mewtwo, Mew, and Gengar.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $1.00 to $49.99

#1 Slowpoke - 086 (Cosmos Holo)
Set: Mega Evolution
Average Sale Price: $1.19

For the third month in a row, this card has ranked high based on a huge number of sales from a small number of buyers. The demand continues to look speculative, not organic—one reason why Slowpoke’s price has continued to drop, despite the number of sales.

#2 Hilda
Set: White Flare
Average Sale Price: $1.27

A generically powerful Trainer card that hasn‘t been reprinted in many sets and is able to stay over $1. Players need playsets, so they sell quickly.

#3 Meowth ex - 062/088
Set: Perfect Order
Average Sale Price: $2.24

By far the most important playable from Perfect Order, Meowth will be a staple of competitive Pokémon as long as it remains legal in Standard. So far, it’s only been printed in one set, so the supply is fairly low.

#4 Pikachu - 040/128
Set: Pitch Black
Average Sale Price: $5.28

Cards illustrated by Shinji’s Kanda have a reputation for spiking over time. Like a self-fulfilling prophecy, Kanda’s Pikachu Rare card has become the best-selling and the most expensive of the 30 cards at this rarity.

#5 Dunsparce
Set: Journey Together
Average Sale Price: $2.24

Players who run Dudunsparce as their draw engine are defaulting to this version of Dunsparce as its pre-evolution, since it’s the only Dunsparce in Standard that can survive a Phantom Dive.
