Top Selling Pokémon Cards on TCGplayer: July 2026

The first step to serving customer demand is to understand it. So to help you follow what’s currently popular with players and collectors, we’ve put together a pair of downloadable CSV reports of the top-selling Pokémon cards of the past month.

These reports show the name and set of the Pokémon cards with the highest total number of copies sold on the TCGplayer Marketplace between July 1 and 31, 2026. The reports consider cards from different sets to be distinct (even if they have the same name), but do not distinguish copies sold by condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.) or by printing (Foil, etc.).

The two reports cover cards that had an average sale price in July within two ranges: $50.00 or more, and $1.00 to $49.99.

Here are five highlights from each report.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $50 or More

#1 Mega Gengar ex - 269/217
Set: Ascended Heroes
Average Sale Price: $59.66

Gengar cards have been making headlines for months, and they only got more attention once SIR Mega Gengar ex became the newest four-figure Pokémon card currently in print. It’s hard to tell what’s cause and what’s effect, but Gengar fever has spread to cards that wouldn’t normally be considered chases, like this Mega Attack Rare version of Mega Gengar ex.

#2 Charmander - 044
Set: SV: Scarlet & Violet Promo Cards
Average Sale Price: $61.34

This promo card of Charmander staring daggers at the Pidgey outside its window completes a trio of cards with the Squirtle and Bulbasaur Illustration Rares in Stellar Crown.

Their recent growth could just be a natural effect of them aging—Gen I Pokémon do that—or it might be related to all three cards rotating out of Standard, and thus out of contention for any future reprints.

#3 Mega Greninja ex - 116/086
Set: Chaos Rising
Average Sale Price: $248.17

As the #1 chase card in an otherwise middling set (by modern standards), Special Illustration Rare Mega Greninja ex is a natural pickup for Pokémon fans who want to cut to the chase and skip the rest of Chaos Rising.

#4 Cinccino ex - 119/086
Set: Chaos Rising
Average Sale Price: $68.15

Cinccino ex has been trending down all year. In July, amid a flurry of restocks and concern that the market was becoming soft, daily sales for this card became consistently high for a couple weeks in a row.

It’s possible that collectors who were turned off by runaway card prices took July as their cue to buy the singles they actually wanted, and Cinccino made that list. In any case, the heightened demand looks to have been organic, with the average number of copies per buyer never rising above 2.2 in July.

#5 Psyduck - 226/217
Set: Ascended Heroes
Average Sale Price: $76.37

Psyduck is a similar story. After trending way down from its height of almost $120 in May, Psyduck reached a spot where the daily sales number started picking up and the price stabilized. Even when the Pokémon market lags, it seems there’s plenty of latent demand waiting to cushion its fall, and these cuddly IRs and SIRs of less overhyped Pokémon appeal to that price-conscious slice of the market.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $1.00 to $49.99

#1 Slowpoke - 086 (Cosmos Holo)
Set: Mega Evolution
Average Sale Price: $3.02

The amount of speculation on this (admittedly charming) sealed promo is nuts. Since July 16, we’ve never had a day when the average number of copies per buyer for this card fell below 5.7. On the other hand, there have been almost three days when that number exceeded 30.0.

Be aware that the vast majority of the demand for this card does not look organic.

#2 Meowth ex - 062/088
Set: Perfect Order
Average Sale Price: $2.52

By far the most important playable from Perfect Order, Meowth will be a staple of competitive Pokémon as long as it remains legal in Standard. So far, it’s only been printed in one set, so the supply is fairly low.

#3 Hilda
Set: White Flare
Average Sale Price: $1.65

Another generically powerful Trainer card that hasn‘t been reprinted in many sets and is able to stay over $1. Players need playsets, so they sell quickly.

#2 Mega Greninja ex
Set: Chaos Rising
Average Sale Price: $1.21

Mega Greninja ex is the best attacker in Chaos Rising, and the mascot of the set. I wouldn’t be surprised if some budget-conscious collectors are picking up copies of this Double Rare, alongside all the players who want something new to jam at their League.

#5 Dunsparce
Set: Journey Together
Average Sale Price: $2.33

Players who run Dudunsparce as their draw engine are defaulting to this version of Dunsparce as its pre-evolution, since it’s the only Dunsparce in Standard that can survive a Phantom Dive.
