Top Selling Magic: The Gathering Cards on TCGplayer: October 2025

The first step to serving customer demand is to understand it. So to help you follow what’s currently popular with players and collectors, we’ve put together a pair of downloadable CSV reports of the top-selling Magic: The Gathering cards of the past month.

These reports show the name and set of the Magic cards with the highest total number of copies sold on the TCGplayer Marketplace between October 1 and 31, 2025. The reports consider cards from different sets to be distinct (even if they have the same name), but do not distinguish copies sold by condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.) or by printing (Foil, etc.).

The two reports cover cards that had an average sale price in October within two ranges: $50.00 or more, and $1.00 to $49.99.

Here are five highlights from each report.

Top Selling Magic Cards: $50 or More

#1 The Soul Stone
Set: Marvel's Spider-Man
Average Sale Price: $74.69

Just like last month, The Soul Stone outsold all the other Magic cards in this price bracket by a significant margin. In Commander, The Soul Stone is an efficient, indestructible mana rock that offers recurring value once you harness it—a no-brainer for almost any black deck.

The other Infinity Stones are expected to make their cardboard debuts in later Marvel sets like Marvel Super Heroes, likely along with some payoff for assembling them all, so any players with the means to do so are picking up their copies of The Soul Stone now while it’s relatively inexpensive.

#2 Gwen Stacy (0202) (Borderless)
Set: Marvel's Spider-Man
Average Sale Price: $51.34

The foil and non-foil versions of this card together have an average sale price that just barely qualifies for this report, helping it swing over other high-value cards like Force of Negation and Deflecting Swat. Gwen/Ghost Spider is one of the more popular new commanders from Spider-Man (card draw in the command zone will do that), and this borderless version forms a nice diptych with borderless Miles Morales.

#3 The One Ring (Borderless) (LTR Bundle)
Set: Unique and Miscellaneous Promos
Average Sale Price: $69.99

This version of The One Ring is currently the most affordable on the market, so it’s also the fastest selling. With FINAL FANTASY no longer dominating the market, The One Ring has resumed the position it deserves in this report as one of the most overpowered Magic cards ever printed.

#4 The One Ring
Set: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth
Average Sale Price: $80.41

Just above the previous version in terms of price, the basic printing of The One Ring sells well for all the same reasons.

#5 Sheoldred, the Apocalypse
Set: Dominaria United
Average Sale Price: $68.17

Sheoldred has rotated out of Standard, but it still pops up all over Pioneer and Commander. Expect Sheoldred to remain near the top of the bestsellers list in this price bracket until it gets a reprint.

Top Selling Magic Cards: $1.00 to $49.99

#1 Hare Apparent
Set: Foundations
Average Sale Price: $3.12

Cards like Hare Apparent allow (and encourage) players to play way more than the standard four copies in their decks, so anyone who wants to build around it needs tons of copies. That naturally pushes these cards to the top of bestseller lists.

#2 Sol Ring
Set: Commander: Bloomburrow
Average Sale Price: $1.21

Sol Ring always ranks among the bestselling cards in Magic, thanks to being a symbol of the game’s most popular format, but those sales are usually spread out among its many (many) reprints. This version of Sol Ring had one of the lowest Market Prices in September, which helped it show up in more players’ carts when they used Cart Optimizer.

#3 Sol Ring
Set: Commander: The Lost Caverns of Ixalan
Average Sale Price: $1.16

This version of Sol Ring actually costs more than the Bloomburrow version right now, but for a while in October it held the price advantage and was showing up in more carts.

#4 Multiversal Passage
Set: Marvel's Spider-Man
Average Sale Price: $7.51

In Commander, where losing 2 life hardly matters, Multiversal Passage often outperforms staples like Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse. Most multicolor Commander decks (which is nearly all Commander decks) would be slightly improved by including this card.

#5 Spectacular Spider-Man (Borderless)
Set: Marvel's Spider-Man
Average Sale Price: $6.99

Creature decks live in constant fear of removal and board wipes in Commander, and Spectacular Spider-Man prevents either of those problems from affecting your creatures. This’ll be another generic Commander staple for the foreseeable future.
