Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 8/5/2026
By Peter Day •
We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between July 5 and August 3, 2026.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less
- Set: Fusion Enforcers
- Increase: +$8.19
- Current Market Price: $16.20
Magical Meltdown is rising with the new Aleister/Invoked support in Chaos Origins, as well as the new boss monster Invoked Dee Anima coming in Beyond the Brave.
#4 Ghostrick Angel of Mischief (Quarter Century Secret Rare)
- Set: 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection
- Increase: +$9.68
- Current Market Price: $12.19
On July 20, we learned that the Cubic, Marincess, and Ghostrick archetypes would all be getting new support in a new REVOLUTION BOOSTER releasing for the OCG in November. Sales of this Quarter Century Secret Rare immediately spiked as players and speculators pinned their hopes on the fan-favorite Ghostrick archetype becoming competitively viable in some future TCG release.
#3 Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction
- Set: Phantom Nightmare
- Increase: +$10.20
- Current Market Price: $19.83
Veidos sees play outside of its archetype as a way to take out problematic Field Spells. It showed up across multiple top decks at Genesys NA WCQ Minneapolis, and it’ll become even more important after Beyond the Brave gives Toon decks more reasons to keep Toon World in play.
#2 Djinn Demolisher of Rituals
- Set: Astral Pack 7
- Increase: +$11.07
- Current Market Price: $12.40
It’s been 11 years since Djinn Demolisher of Rituals saw a reprint, but it might need one soon. This card covers for the main weaknesses of Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos and Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness, the headliner cards from Chaos Origins which just released in July.
#1 Crowley, the Gifted Magistus
- Set: Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem
- Increase: +$16.57
- Current Market Price: $24.85
Crowley counts as Aleister and helps summon the aforementioned Invoked Dee Anima that’s coming in Beyond the Brave.
Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10
#5 Slifer the Sky Dragon (Secret Pharaoh's Rare)
- Set: King's Court
- Increase: +$30.77
- Current Market Price: $239.40
Sales of this 5-year-old card have slowed to a trickle, but with no new supply, that’s been enough to tick its price up every week. At time of writing, the lowest Near Mint listing is $249.60, and it just goes up from there.
#4 Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Secret Pharaoh's Rare)
- Set: Magnificent Mavens
- Increase: +$30.93
- Current Market Price: $384.69
Similarly, there haven’t been many sales of this Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but with only two listings left, it’s ticked up in price as well.
#3 Wynn the Wind Charmer, Verdant (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Rising Rampage
- Increase: +$34.62
- Current Market Price: $217.17
Seven years later, this Rising Rampager is still rising.
#2 Black Chaos (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Chaos Origins
- Increase: +$56.54
- Current Market Price: $171.27
After a brief drop during release weekend last month, the Starlight Rare version of Black Chaos rebounded hard and now sits as one of the top 5 most valuable cards in the set.
- Set: Turbo Pack: Booster Six
- Increase: +$77.80
- Current Market Price: $591.02
Excluding listings with photos, TCGplayer is down to a single Near Mint listing for this 15-year-old card, at $1,000.
