Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 7/1/2026

We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.

(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between May 30 and June 28, 2026.)

Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less

#5 Elemental HERO Blazeman

  • Set: World Superstars
  • Increase: +$8.18
  • Current Market Price: $16.50

Elemental HERO decks have gotten a steady stream of new support cards this year, from Elemental HERO Thunder Giant - Voltaic Thunder to Miracle Ejector to (most recently) Masked HERO Fountain. Blazeman occasionally sees play in modern HERO decks, including the one that made Top 8 at the Charlottetown Regional on June 20th, so the demand for this card has grown too.

While there are other versions of the card that still go for under $1, a small group of players prefer this original printing from 2015’s World Superstars, and they’ve wiped out the few remaining listings for this card under $19 on TCGplayer.

#4 Satellarknight Unukalhai

  • Set: Astral Pack 7
  • Increase: +$8.35
  • Current Market Price: $11.44

Tellarknights got new support in June with the release of Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery. The new cards like Constellor Caster and Tellarknight Cygnian helped a Tellarknight deck make Top 16 at UK Nationals and prompted more demand for older cards in the archetype.

As with Elemental HERO Blazeman, there are reprints of Unukalhai for under $1, but the SR printing from 2015’s Astral Pack 7 makes a good flex.

#3 Zoodiac Ratpier (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: Quarter Century Stampede
  • Increase: +$10.57
  • Current Market Price: $20.13

Ratpier became Unlimited in Master Duel on June 4, which might have been why the card’s sales were slightly elevated in June compared to April and May—speculators could be betting that Ratpier will be coming off the TCG’s F&L List too.

There was also a moderate-sized buyout of the card on March 22, the same day Konami announced that Ratpier would be going from Limited to Semi-Limited in the OCG. The buyout prompted a price spike that started out gradual and became steeper in the last couple weeks. The current gains might just be a delayed reaction to that buyout.

#2 Toon Bookmark

  • Set: Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge
  • Increase: +$10.60
  • Current Market Price: $19.12

Over in Japan, players spent the past month experimenting with the new Toon cards from Revolution Booster: Toon / Witchcrafter / Unchained, which includes seven new cards for each of those archetypes.

Toon Bookmark was reprinted in that set, but some players are still picking up the older, fancier printings so they’ll be prepared to max-rarity their decks when the new Toon cards arrive in the West.

#1 Stellarnova Alpha

  • Set: Duelist Alliance
  • Increase: +$11.78
  • Current Market Price: $16.01

This card has only been printed twice: both times as an Ultra Rare, and both times during the second Obama administration. Now that Tellarknight has new support, players are hunting down the few remaining copies of this Counter Trap.

Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10

#5 Super Polymerization (Starlight Rare)

  • Set: Rarity Collection 5
  • Increase: +$34.03
  • Current Market Price: $226.70

Extended-art Super Polymerization released in April and slowly drifted down as fans tore through boxes of Rarity Collection 5. It bottomed out at $190 by the end of May, but in June it started bouncing back, even as the other extended-art cards of RC5 kept sinking.

Its comeback likely reflects its playability. While running Super Polymerization does require some concessions in your Extra Deck, it’s well worth it to play a spell that breaks boards so reliably.

#4 Fallen of the White Dragon (Starlight Rare)

  • Set: Burst Protocol
  • Increase: +$35.75
  • Current Market Price: $207.43

Released in February 2026’s Burst Protocol, Fallen of the White Dragon has remained competitively relevant all year. Its base-rarity version rebounded dramatically in May as player demand outpaced supply, and this Starlight Rare version is following a similar trajectory.

#3 Forbidden Crown (Starlight Rare)

  • Set: Burst Protocol
  • Increase: +$37.41
  • Current Market Price: $216.13

Sales of Starlight Rare Forbidden Crown actually dipped in June, with no anomalous days. But the lower-cost listings that disappeared in April have not been replaced, so the card has continued to climb.

Forbidden Crown has a long list of effects that can’t be replicated by any other card in the game. Buyers appear to be just as willing to pay $200 for a fancy version of a card with those effects as they were to pay $100.

#2 Thunder King Rai-Oh (UTR)

  • Set: Turbo Pack: Booster Eight
  • Increase: +$38.72
  • Current Market Price: $137.31

This 14-year-old card is feeling the effects of a buyout. On June 2, somebody bought eight copies at once, and smaller buyouts followed on June 10 and 26.

The card is seeing play in Japan with the Blitzclique archetype, which will debut in the West on Thursday in Chaos Origins, so we may see more demand for every version of Rai-Oh in the next month.

#1 Stardust Dragon (Ghost)

  • Set: The Duelist Genesis
  • Increase: +$63.62
  • Current Market Price: $518.16

This 18-year-old card is so rare that it only sees about one sale per month, which inevitably impacts its Market Price. That’s exactly what happened in June.
