Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 5/06/2026
By Peter Day •
We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between April 4 and May 4, 2026.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less
- Set: Doom of Dimensions
- Increase: +$12.70
- Current Market Price: $19.15
Coming in Blazing Dominion later this week, Princess Dracaena, the Thirsting Tree and Predaplant Bal Teah give players an easy one-card combo to get to Bramble Rose Dragon with extra value left over.
#4 Soundproofed
- Set: Extreme Victory
- Increase: +$13.02
- Current Market Price: $18.74
Kewl Tune is expected to become the best deck in the format once the new support arrives in Blazing Dominion. To take on their new format overlords, players are grabbing Soundproofed as a Side Deck card to lock Kewl Tune out of its main summoning mechanic for a turn.
#3 Aleister the Invoker of Madness (CR)
- Set: Genesis Impact
- Increase: +$13.88
- Current Market Price: $20.27
Sales of Aleister the Invoker of Madness spiked immensely on April 9 when it was revealed that Aleister the Reminiscent and other Invoked cards would be appearing in Chaos Origins. Players immediately grabbed the old cards they’ll need to play with the new Aleister support once it arrives in the TCG on July 3.
- Set: Raging Tempest
- Increase: +$18.25
- Current Market Price: $24.14
This card is bad, but that’s kind of the point. One of the best ways to break a Kewl Tune board is to play Super Polymerization using your opponent’s Monsters as material. Because all Kewl Tune Monsters are Tuners, they’re all valid targets to throw away to Sea Monster of Theseus.
This card has only been printed in two sets, both of which came out in 2017. That’s made both versions extremely sensitive to this recent rise in demand from players hoping to hose Kewl Tune.
- Set: 2017 Mega-Tins Mega Pack
- Increase: +$20.07
- Current Market Price: $24.89

Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10
- Set: OTS Tournament Pack 6
- Increase: +$31.11
- Current Market Price: $61.65
Invocation is another Invoked card that players are interested in because of the support coming in Chaos Origins. While it’s been reprinted many times, and the cheapest versions are still under $1, this player rewards version from 2017 is scarce enough to feel the full weight of the shift in demand.
#4 Kewl Tune Cue (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Phantom Revenge
- Increase: +$34.63
- Current Market Price: $91.95
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. The older Kewl Tune cards have seen a bump in sales this month, as players have prepared for the Blazing Dominion cards that’ll turn the deck up to 11.
#3 Spenta, the Magistus Sealer (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Burst Protocol
- Increase: +$39.90
- Current Market Price: $79.07
Both this and the base-rarity version of Spenta, the Magistus Sealer spiked in early April following Walid Ben Abbes’s first place finish with a Dracotail deck running two copies of Spenta at the 700+ player French Open. The base-rarity version has come back down as players anticipate a shift in the meta, but the rarer Starlight Rare version has not.
- Set: Turbo Pack: Booster Six
- Increase: +$47.68
- Current Market Price: $450.01
A handful of sales in early April pushed this 2011 print of Dark Armed Dragon over the $450 threshold. The card doesn’t have any particular reason to spike now, and reprinted copies from 2023 are available for under $1, but this player reward version is old and scarce enough that any amount of interest was enough to raise its price.
- Set: The Duelist Genesis
- Increase: +$53.36
- Current Market Price: $402.53
Limit Over Collection: The Heroes gave OCG players new Stardust Dragon support in late February, so plugged-in speculators have been eyeing rare copies of cards from the archetype.
