Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 3/11/2026
By Peter Day •
We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between February 8 and March 9, 2026.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less
#5 Imperion Magnum the Superconductive Battlebot
- Set: Structure Deck: Yugi Muto
- Increase: +$9.89
- Current Market Price: $12.14
Burst Protocol gave the Magnet Warriors archetype the first support it’s seen in a long time, and immediately increased the demand for old Magnet and Magna cards. A few of those cards, like Imperion Magnum the Superconductive Battlebot, have only been printed once, in the 2016 Yugi Muto Structure Deck. With so few copies of these 10-year-old cards in circulation, the ones that are left have naturally spiked due to the recent demand.
- Set: Phantom Revenge
- Increase: +$12.75
- Current Market Price: $19.60
The number of sales of this card has declined steadily each month, but it has still been high enough to burn through all the low-cost listings on the marketplace. Kewl Tune has seen modest competitive success in the past month, including a 1st place finish at a ~200-player Regional, so Reco and the other monsters of the archetype remain relevant to players
Kewl Tune will be getting more support in the May 2026 set Blazing Dominion, so we probably haven’t seen the peak for this card yet.
#3 Deception of the Sinful Spoils
- Set: 2025 Mega-Pack
- Increase: +$14.25
- Current Market Price: $20.48
In mid-February, Dominik Strunz managed to make Top 64 at the 2600+ player event 300th YCS Dortmund playing White Forest Azamina. This inspired players to take the deck seriously again, and sent Deception of the Sinful Spoils to prices we haven’t seen since May of last year.
#2 Deception of the Sinful Spoils
- Set: Rage of the Abyss
- Increase: +$20.11
- Current Market Price: $28.05
The demand for this card extended to all its versions, including its original printing in Rage of the Abyss.
#1 Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior
- Set: Structure Deck: Yugi Muto
- Increase: +$21.57
- Current Market Price: $25.29
Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior is another card like Imperion Magnum the Superconductive Battlebot that has only been printed once, in the Yugi Muto Structure deck that came out 10 years ago. Any players who want to use the new Magnet Warrior cards in Burst Protocol have to scrounge up copies of this card to build the optimal version of the new deck.
Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10
- Set: Dimension of Chaos
- Printing: 1st Edition
- Increase: +$24.62
- Current Market Price: $40.90
This 11-year-old card has seen very little play throughout most of its life, but that changed in February thanks to First Penguin. The Penguin can use Graydle in the Extra Deck to add Mermail Abyssteus to the hand, which then summons itself and unlocks the Mermail deck’s combos.
Mermail decks managed to top two YCS events in February, which suddenly made Graydle Dragon mandatory for fans of this rogue strategy. Of course, it’s only been printed once.
#4 Kewl Tune Synchro (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Phantom Revenge
- Increase: +$25.69
- Current Market Price: $69.46
All the most valuable Starlight Rares from Phantom Revenge belong to the Kewl Tune archetype, and they’ve all gone up in the past month as players prepare for new Kewl Tune support in Blazing Dominion.
#3 Kewl Tune Reco (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Phantom Revenge
- Increase: +$27.64
- Current Market Price: $51.98
That includes the archetype’s primary searcher.
#2 Elfnote Lucina (Starlight Rare)
- Set: Burst Protocol
- Increase: +$36.95
- Current Market Price: $207.54
Elfnote Lucina rebounded hard after Burst Protocol’s release weekend, as the demand for the new Elfnote archetype outstripped expectations.
#1 Dark Magician Girl the Magician's Apprentice (Quarter Century Secret Rare)
- Set: Alliance Insight
- Increase: +$36.95
- Current Market Price: $207.54
This card has been on a straight path up price mountain since it bottomed out around $130 in early December 2025. As the only QCSR version of the first lady of Yu-Gi-Oh! with this art, this card is of particular interest to collectors. Even the non-QCSR version of the card has jumped up to become one of the most valuable cards in Alliance Insight.
