Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 10/14/2025

We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.

(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least five sales between September 10 and October 9, 2025.)

Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less

#5 Despian Luluwalilith

  • Set: Cyberstorm Access
  • Increase: +$13.93
  • Current Market Price: $17.80

Sales of Despian Luluwalilith have risen moderately in the past two weeks in anticipation of the upcoming structure deck, THE CHRONICLES DECK: The Fallen & The Virtuous. The new deck is designed to tie in with the current storyline of the Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME: THE CHRONICLES animated series, and has gotten some positive buzz among players thanks to desirable reprints and solid new Branded support.

Despian Luluwalilith makes a solid upgrade to the base deck, so players who’re hoping to play Branded after the deck releases on October 24 are grabbing it in advance. That modest increase in demand has been enough to organically wipe out all the listings below $5.

#4 Albion the Sanctifire Dragon

  • Set: 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors
  • Increase: +$14.64
  • Current Market Price: $20.54

Branded players are also picking up Albion the Sanctifier Dragon to play with The Fallen & The Virtuous structure deck

#3 Pre-Preparation of Rites (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection
  • Increase: +$16.34
  • Current Market Price: $23.46

A massive buyout targeted this card on September 23, raising the average copies per buyer that day to 26.1.

Mitsurugi was largely unaffected by the F&L List update that dropped on September 12, so speculators may be betting that QCSR versions of cards from that deck will be in higher demand going forward.

#2 Albion the Sanctifire Dragon

  • Set: Cyberstorm Access
  • Increase: +$17.79
  • Current Market Price: $24.77

Just like the 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors printing, this Cyberstorm Access printing of Albion the Sanctifier Dragon is going fast as players prepare for The Fallen & The Virtuous structure deck.

#1 Linkuriboh (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: Quarter Century Stampede
  • Increase: +$18.75
  • Current Market Price: $25.08

Linkuriboh was unbanned during the recent F&L List changes, which meant its Quarter Century Secret Rare version was suddenly desirable to players instead of just collectors.

Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10

#5 Seventh Tachyon (CR)

  • Set: Maze of the Master
  • Increase: +$22.42
  • Current Market Price: $48.46

Seventh Tachyon had been dropping all year, even after an impressive buyout on July 26 when somebody picked up 28 copies in a single day. But its fortunes reversed after the announcement of the F&L List update on September 12, since it helps Ryzeal decks find the newly-Limited Ext Ryzeal using Number 104: Masquerade.

#4 Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Ghost Rare)

  • Set: Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting
  • Increase: +$22.48
  • Current Market Price: $275.44

This card is so rare and valuable that it doesn’t take much for it to fluctuate a few dozen dollars in a given month. But it got a little help on September 27 when somebody bought seven copies at once.

#3 Mitsurugi Ritual

  • Set: Supreme Darkness
  • Increase: +$23.45
  • Current Market Price: $34.69

Mitsurugi Ritual spiked after the F&L List update due to Mitsurugi not being directly hit by any of the changes.

#2 Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon (Starlight Rare)

  • Set: Photon Hypernova
  • Increase: +$34.70
  • Current Market Price: $279.81

This rare card doesn’t sell often but has been rising steadily in price since April. Its most recent price increases probably owe something to the upcoming Branded structure deck too.

#1 Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: Supreme Darkness
  • Increase: +$39.82
  • Current Market Price: $77.41

Sales of this QCSR jumped on September 12, for the same reason that prices for high-rarity Mitsurugi cards have been going up across the board: Mitsurugi was seen as an early winner of the F&L List update.
