Price Trends: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Climbing in Price - 07/22/2025
By Peter Day •
We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least five sales between June 21 and July 20, 2025.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $10 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $10 or Less
- Set: Structure Deck: Emperor of Darkness
- Increase: +$8.32
- Current Market Price: $9.55
Duelist’s Advance released on July 4 and introduced new support cards for the Monarch archetype like Eidos the Underworld Monarch. This drove up the price of older Monarch cards, like Tenacity of the Monarchs and The Prime Monarch, as players became interested in building the archetype again.
#4 Glow-Up Bulb (Quarter Century Secret Rare)
- Set: Quarter Century Bonanza
- Increase: +$8.54
- Current Market Price: $17.45
Over a dozen fans bought copies of this Quarter Century Secret Rare on Friday, apparently as a reaction to Konami posting the card’s name and image on their official Facebook page with no other context. The lower-rarity versions of Glow-Up Bulb weren’t affected by the burst of interest, but the QCSR version is scarce enough that it was sensitive to the demand.
- Set: Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge
- Increase: +$10.42
- Current Market Price: $18.41
Kurikara Divincarnate is just a solid Nibiru impersonator that might be due for another reprint. First printed in Power of the Elements in 2022, Kurikara reached as much as $64 for a base-rarity copy in June 2023, then slowly sunk in price until this reprint arrived with Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge in June 2024.
Both versions of the card have remained stable around $6 for almost a year. But in June 2025, copies of the reprint started drying up, and both versions have been on an upward incline ever since.
- Set: Phantom Rage
- Increase: +$12.23
- Current Market Price: $15.30
While sales of this card spiked dramatically on July 16, the surge in demand appears to be organic.
The upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh set Justice Hunters will introduce the K9 theme to the TCG. K9 decks have been topping tournaments in Japan for months now, and as a theme built around Level 5 and Rank 5 monsters, it has forced players and the market to reevaluate older Rank 5 cards like Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon.
Note that the version of this card from 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles is still less than $0.40, even though it saw a massive buyout on July 3 that caused the average number of copies per buyer to spike to 47.3.
- Set: Legendary Duelists: Season 2
- Increase: +$12.53
- Current Market Price:$17.90
Both this card and the version of Garden Rose Maiden from Legendary Duelists: Sisters of the Rose spiked this week in anticipation of the new Rose Dragon support coming in the September Yu-Gi-Oh! set, Doom of Dimensions.
Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $10.
Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $10
#5 Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade
- Set: Judgment of the Light
- Printing: Unlimited
- Increase: +$28.87
- Current Market Price: $57.87
Like Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon, Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade is another Rank 5 Xyz monster that players are buying up in anticipation of the Level/Rank 5 “K9” theme coming in Justice Hunters.
#4 Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade
- Set: Judgment of the Light
- Printing: 1st Edition
- Increase: +$34.75
- Current Market Price: $64.78
The 1st Edition version is rising right alongside the Unlimited version…
#3 Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade (UTR)
- Set: Judgment of the Light
- Increase: +$41.84
- Current Market Price: $104.91
…And the Ultimate Rare version of Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade is back for another month, continuing to rise for the same reason as its base-rarity version.
#2 Sky Striker Ace - Roze (Alternate Art) (Quarter Century Secret Rare)
- Set: Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge
- Increase: +$45.32
- Current Market Price: $182.73
The demand for this card hasn’t noticeably changed since May. It’s just been creeping up in price as Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge passes its one-year anniversary.
- Set: OTS Tournament Pack 28
- Increase: +$84.12
- Current Market Price: $209.13
OTS Tournament Packs are prize support packs provided by Konami to game stores that run OTS events, which makes the special reprints they contain especially hard to obtain. Konami often fills these packs with cards that are or were competitively viable, but pack 28 (released on June 18) also includes the first OTS Tournament Pack reprint of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, arguably the most beloved card in all of Yu-Gi-Oh.
This BEWD reprint has instantly become the most expensive OTS card ever. While its price has stabilized and is starting to drift down as more OTS packs are opened, the card still managed to outperform its initial sales and nearly double in price in one month.
