Price Trends: One Piece Cards Climbing in Price - 08/19/2026

We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of One Piece cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.

(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between June 8 and August 7, 2026.)

Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $30 or less.

Top 5 Price Increases—One Piece Cards $30 or Less

#5 Monkey.D.Luffy (047) (Premium Card Collection -Live Action Edition-)

  • Set: One Piece Promotion Cards
  • Increase: +$9.60
  • Current Market Price: $31.48

On July 19, somebody bought 28 copies of this card at once. That turned out to be just the push this card needed to break into $30 territory.

#4 Edward.Newgate (Alternate Art)

  • Set: The Time of Battle
  • Increase: +$14.00
  • Current Market Price: $40.23

The impending release of The World’s Strongest Warriors (OP-17) is forcing players to reevaluate old cards, and the market is responding in kind.

This alt-art SR is one of the boss Characters in Red OP-16 Ace decks, which are expected to be stronger after the release of OP-17 thanks to the arrival of another Newgate card, OP17-005.

#3 For Fun (Premium Card Collection -Best Selection Vol. 6-)

  • Set: One Piece Promotion Cards
  • Increase: +$14.48
  • Current Market Price: $17.78

Green Mihawk decks got a major power boost with the release of the ST31-36 Starter Decks, and they’re expected to pick up another power-up when OP17-022 Shanks arrives in The World’s Strongest Warriors. That, combined with an uncertain meta where removal might be playable again, has given players a reason to seriously consider this card.

#2 Sabo (004) (Alternate Art)

  • Set: Carrying On His Will
  • Increase: +$15.87
  • Current Market Price: $31.45

It looks like Red Black Sabo is going to get an unexpected boost in OP-17 thanks to the package of black Straw Hat cards that were designed for Black OP-17 Luffy. Sabo already wants to play Characters that boost their own cost, so jamming cards like Loki is a small price to pay to turn all these two-cost Characters into 5,000-power bodies.

With Sabo poised to break into the meta, alt-art copies of his year-old Leader card have been selling fast.

#1 When You're at Sea You Fight against Pirates!! (2025 Pirates League Store Qualifier)

  • Set: One Piece Promotion Cards
  • Increase: +$25.17
  • Current Market Price: $53.37

This card saw its biggest sales day ever when someone bought 22 copies at once on August 3. That was enough of a buyout to send its price spiking.

Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $30.

Top 5 Price Increases—One Piece Cards Over $30

#5 Perona (Extra Grand Battle for Stores 2026)

  • Set: One Piece Promotion Cards
  • Increase: +$68.87
  • Current Market Price: $361.78

This Perona was awarded to players who made Top 4 at one of the Extra Grand Battle for Stores events held in May 2026 to celebrate the start of the new Extra Regulation format. Sales have been sparse in the past month, but so has supply, so it managed to break the barrier into $300.

#4 Boa Hancock (SP)

  • Set: Extra Booster: One Piece Heroines Edition
  • Increase: +$71.42
  • Current Market Price: $1,407.41

Despite the wave of Heroines Edition product that entered circulation in the past few months, ever since April, this card has only gone up. Heroines Edition is starting to look like the all-time-great One Piece set you’d expect it to be given its premise.

#3 Nico Robin (055) (SP)

  • Set: Extra Booster: One Piece Heroines Edition
  • Increase: +$114.58
  • Current Market Price: $1,450.29

This Heroines Edition SP card took a little longer than Boa to start creeping up in value, but it’s now firmly on an upward trajectory.

#2 Monkey.D.Luffy (Pre-Release Tournament) (Winner)

  • Set: One Piece Promotion Cards
  • Increase: +$139.25
  • Current Market Price: $456.14

This Luffy card was the prize for winning a OP-04 Pre-Release Tournament in September 2023—which makes it positively ancient in terms of the One Piece Card Game. On July 24, somebody bought 22 copies of this rare card at once, and the price predictably spiked.

#1 Monkey.D.Dragon (SP)

  • Set: Extra Booster: Anime 25th Collection
  • Increase: +$143.85
  • Current Market Price: $890.13

Dragon’s Market Price is slowly catching up with its most recent sales, which have all been in the $1000 range. The gold-lettered Leader cards from EB-02 have always been exceedingly rare, and with the set approaching two years old, the odds are slim that it’ll ever be reprinted.
