Price Trends: Magic: The Gathering Cards Climbing in Price - 07/15/2026

We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Magic: The Gathering cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between June 14 and July 14, 2026.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $50 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—MTG Cards $50 or Less
- Set: Marvel Super Heroes
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$16.07
- Current Market Price: $28.58
The Ten Rings is first today, and it’s because it lets you draw a lot of cards. While it’s not especially powerful in constructed formats, this eight-mana artifact does very well in Commander, and as it’s only going to go up in price, more people have been buying it, leading to a 128.46% increase.
#4 Storm of Saruman (Borderless Poster)
- Set: Art Series: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth
- Printing: Normal
- Increase: +$29.06
- Current Market Price: $76.46
The first of three Middle-Earth cards, this variant of Storm of Saruman may well win the prize for being the hardest to read card in the game. That doesn’t mean it’s not good though, and it’s seen a 61.31% increase. These unique takes on the LotR cards are all doing quite well at the moment, so they’re worth considering.
#3 Shadow of the Enemy (Borderless Poster)
- Set: Commander: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$36.24
- Current Market Price: $85.58
This stunning sorcery is another success of the upcoming The Hobbit set, and has seen a very impressive 73.45% increase. The card itself lets you steal a mass of cards from another player, although it’s not as strong as some other options in that niche, it’s one of the best-looking ones, at least with this art.
#2 Peter Parker (0232) (Borderless)
- Set: Marvel's Spider-Man
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$48.49
- Current Market Price: $97.71
While not especially popular when it released, Marvel’s Spider-Man cards have been doing a little bit better with the launch of Marvel Super Heroes. In fact, this comic book art of Peter Parker himself saw a big leap of 98.52%. A few of the stronger cards from the set have continued to sell well, and we’re expecting that to happen with each new Marvel set.
#1 Dawn of a New Age (Borderless Poster)
- Set: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$58.24
- Current Market Price: $94.81
Our final big boost in the world of Middle-Earth is Dawn of a New Age. This card saw an immense 159.26% increase, ending way above the $50 mark thanks to this hefty boost. As with the others, there’s a big chance that this card becomes more relevant when The Hobbit set releases, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled.

#5 The One Ring (Borderless Poster)
- Set: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-Earth
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$157.54
- Current Market Price: $1,462.24
Despite being banned in competitive Magic, The One Ring is still a very good card to try and hunt down. This one has a gnarly metal album feel to it alongside still being an incredibly potent card. It’s hard to argue with either of those things, and it’s gone up by 12.07%
#4 Ms. Bumbleflower (Borderless) (Raised Foil)
- Set: Commander: Bloomburrow
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$167.81
- Current Market Price: $1,230.14
A surprise return for undoubtedly the cutest card that’ll cost you so much, Ms. Bumblefower has gained 15.80% this time around. It’s one of the most popular Commanders in recent years, and this printing is far too disarming to be targeted but all by the most hardened players.
#3 Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
- Set: FINAL FANTASY
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$178.28
- Current Market Price: $864.18
Not only is Sephiroth one of the chase cards from the main FINAL FANTASY set anyway, but the recent announcement of the third game in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy could possibly have contributed to the 25.99% increase here.
#2 The Soul Stone (Borderless)
- Set: Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$279.23
- Current Market Price: $1,553.44
It’s fair to say that The Soul Stone is the biggest hit from Marvel’s Spider-Man, and while this isn’t the most expensive version of this card, it’s still a heavy-hitter. It’s seen a 21.91% increase over the last period, and that’s only likely to continue as we head into Marvel Super Heroes.
- Set: Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$288.27
- Current Market Price: $3,832.64
Avatar Aang remains one of the best ways to put all of your Avatar cards in one singular Commander deck, but it’s very likely that this particular printing is going up purely as a collector’s item, rather than because of the card itself. The 8.13% increase isn’t as large as the others on this list, but the starting price makes it an impressive boost nevertheless.
