Price Trends: Magic: The Gathering Cards Climbing in Price - 06/17/2026
By Jason Coles •
We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Magic: The Gathering cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price in the past 30 days.
(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least ten sales between May 17 and June 16, 2026.)
Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price of $50 or less.
Top 5 Price Increases—MTG Cards $50 or Less
#5 Living End (JP Alternate Art) (Silver Scroll Foil)
- Set: Secrets of Strixhaven: Mystical Archive
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$37.88
- Current Market Price: $86.21
The Secrets of Strixhaven Mystical Archive cards continue to do well here, with this card seeing a 78.38% increase. This artwork is absolutely beautiful, and Living End has been doing reasonably-well in Modern as well, making this playable as well as pretty.
#4 Spectacular Spider-Man (Black) Art Card (Gold-Stamped Planeswalker Symbol)
- Set: Art Series: Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Printing: Normal
- Increase: +$38.03
- Current Market Price: $67.35
If words were money then this thing would be even more expensive due to the title it holds. Despite only being an Art card, this has seen a 129.71% increase, making it one of the better investments for Art card fans.
- Set: Commander: Secret Lair Drop Series
- Printing: Normal
- Increase: +$38.82
- Current Market Price: $78.06
People really like Miku, as it turns out, and this Secret Lair Drop has been doing very well this month. While not as popular as the Rainbow Foil, which we’ll get to, this variant has still seen an impressive 98.93% rise in value.
- Set: Secret Lair Drop Series
- Printing: Normal
- Increase: +$54.37
- Current Market Price: $94.34
Goblin Recruiter is still getting boosted by the Goblin Storm Commander deck, and which has been a big hit despite Secret Lair stock issues. It’s likely that this and other special goblins keep getting traction for a few more weeks too, although we’re not sure they’ll climb by 136.03% again,
#1 Miku, Divine Diva - Elspeth Tirel (Rainbow Foil)
- Set: Secret Lair Drop Series
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$55.59
- Current Market Price: $103.26
Miku, Divine Diva is gaining a lot of value very quickly, and has increased by a massive 116.61% since the start of the last period. That’s a big boost to its value, which makes sense as people scramble to pick up more from the legendary vocaloid.
Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in the past 30 days after starting with a Market Price over $50.
Top 5 Price Increases—MTG Cards Over $50
#5 Sauron, the Dark Lord (Borderless Poster)
- Set: Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-Earth
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$138.87
- Current Market Price: $645.53
Sauron is a lot of fun to play with, but we’re assuming this increase could be linked to the upcoming The Hobbit set, which a lot of people will be making speculative purchases for. Who better than the Dark Lord himself, especially with a 27.41% increase.
#4 The Soul Stone (Borderless)
- Set: Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$173.60
- Current Market Price: $1,274.21
It’s fair to say that The Soul Stone is the biggest hit from the Spider-Man set, and while this isn’t the most expensive version of this card, it’s still a heavy-hitter. It’s seen a 15.77% increase over the last period, and that’s only likely to continue as we head into Marvel Super Heroes.
#3 Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
- Set: FINAL FANTASY
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$186.61
- Current Market Price: $685.90
Not only is Sephiroth one of the chase cards from the main FINAL FANTASY set anyway, but the recent announcement of the third game in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy could possibly have contributed to the 37.38% increase here.
#2 Y’shtola, Night’s Blessed (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
- Set: Commander: FINAL FANTASY
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$214.09
- Current Market Price: $784.54
FINAL FANTASY is likely to be a good investment for some time to come, but for Y’shtola, this 37.53% is likely because the card has broken into the top 3 most played Commanders on EDHREC. The popularity of this one can’t be overstated.
- Set: Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Printing: Foil
- Increase: +$478.30
- Current Market Price: $3,544.37
Avatar Aang remains one of the best ways to put all of your Avatar cards in one singular Commander deck, but it’s very likely that this particular printing is going up purely as a collector’s item, rather than because of the card itself. The 15.60% increase isn’t as large as the others on this list, but the starting price makes it an impressive boost nevertheless.
