Mega Evolution is the first expansion of the new Mega Evolution Series, which will focus on Mega-Evolved Pokémon and tie in to the upcoming video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards will have higher HP and deal more damage than Pokémon ex from the Scarlet & Violet Series, at the cost of giving up three Prize cards when they’re Knocked Out. |

- 22 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainer cards
- 10 special illustration rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Supporter cards
Mega Evolution is expected to contain cards from the Japanese sets Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia. These sets do not have any Ultra Rare cards (Hyper Rare in English). Instead, they each have one Mega Ultra Rare card with unique artwork that serves as the set’s headliner. (See “Key Singles” below.)
