Introducing Sort to Ship: Let Your Roca Sorter Organize Orders
By Carling Berkhout •
We’re excited to announce a new Roca feature called: Sort to Ship. This new sort feature lets you upload a CSV pull sheet so you can pull cards for hundreds of orders in one streamlined batch, and then let your Roca Sorter organize the orders for you. Once your cards are loaded, the Roca automatically organizes them into distinct groups based on the order numbers in your file. Whether you’re fulfilling ten orders or hundreds, this feature streamlines the process by sorting each card into its correct order so you can pack faster and fulfill with confidence.
Why Sort to Ship
- Faster Fulfillment. Let automation handle organizing the orders, eliminating manual sorting.
- Fewer Mistakes. Cards are grouped by order number based on the pull sheet, ensuring accuracy across the board.
- Scalable. Fulfill more orders with less time and effort.
How It Works
- Download pull sheet CSV and packing slips from Seller Portal.
- Gather all cards for the orders listed in the CSV.
- Arrange the cards in the sequence they appear in the CSV.
- Divide the cards into stacks: 100 cards per stack for Roca Sorter or 200 cards per stack for Roca Max.
- Load the stacks into the input bins.
- Place divider cards into the sorting bins.
- Navigate to the Roca page on your device and select the “Sort to Ship” card sort.
- Upload the file and click "Start” to begin the sorting process.
- The machine will organize all orders from the file into distinct groups, with cards sorted according to their order number in the CSV.

FAQ
- Can Sort to Ship sort cards to specific shipments or orders?
Yes, Sort to Ship organizes cards from a larger inventory pull into their individual orders. If a customer has multiple orders, they’ll be sorted separately, unless combined in advance when generating the pull sheet. - Does Sort to Ship support multiple card games like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, and Pokémon at the same time?
Not currently. Sort to Ship supports one game at a time and does not support Yu-Gi-Oh! yet. However, we are planning to add Yu-Gi-Oh! in the future. - How is Sort to Ship faster than manually sorting and packing?
Sort to Ship improves efficiency by allowing all customer orders to be pulled at once and automatically sorted into individual shipments, eliminating the manual sorting step. While it may not always be faster in total time, it significantly reduces labor hours and frees up staff for higher-value tasks like customer service or inventory management. It also reduces physical strain, making the process more ergonomic and scalable. - Why is there an additional $2,000 per year charge beyond the $3,000 I already pay for software and maintenance?
The additional $2,000 annual charge covers enhanced capabilities and expanded support beyond the Standard Software and Service Plan. The Premium level includes specialized product training, quarterly business reports, early access to new features, in addition to Sort to Ship. - How does the Roca Sorter handle card conditioning and separation?
The Roca Sorter does not condition cards –– it uses the condition listed in your CSV file. Cards must be pre-sorted to match the expected condition; otherwise, the machine will assume the condition is correct based on the file.
