Important Changes to TCGplayer Direct Minimum Pricing and Marketplace Fees
By Seller Experience Team •
At TCGplayer, our goal is to be the most trusted marketplace for trading card games, with a continued focus on better serving the professional sellers who power our industry. To create long-term sustainability for sellers, we will be implementing a minimum price requirement for items sold through TCGplayer Direct and Store Your Products (SYP), along with also updating the Marketplace Fees. See the When It's Changing section below for the dates when these changes will be implemented.
What’s Changing
- TCGplayer Direct and Store Your Products (SYP) Minimum Price Requirement
- Any items sold through TCGplayer Direct and Store Your Products (SYP) will have a minimum price requirement of $0.40.
- Cards that are listed below $0.40 will be adjusted to $0.40 for Direct-eligible inventory only, provided that matching Direct inventory is available.
- The $0.40 minimum price requirement is only applicable to Direct and SYP listings. Standard marketplace listings remain unaffected and can still be sold below $0.40.
- Any items sold through TCGplayer Direct and Store Your Products (SYP) will have a minimum price requirement of $0.40.
Participation in TCGplayer Direct and Store Your Products (SYP) is optional. Sellers who do not wish to participate in minimum pricing requirements may continue to sell through the standard Marketplace without a minimum price requirement.
- Direct Seller Agreement
- The Direct Seller Agreement will be updated to reflect these changes, effective on 1/22/26.
- Marketplace Fees
- The Marketplace Commission Fee cap is increasing from $50 to $75.
- Marketplace Seller (Level 1-4 Account) percent commission fees will increase from 10.25% to 10.75%. Commission fee percentage rates will not change for other sellers. For more information, see TCGplayer Fees.
