Hot Products to List for Mayhem 2026

Prepare for Mayhem! Later this month, we’re running a one-day TCGplayer store credit promotion on all products (more details coming soon). To help you make the most out of this opportunity, we’ve compiled a list of sealed inventory we expect buyers will be hunting for during the promotional period.

Magic: The Gathering

Last year, Magic sales during Mayhem were dominated by preorders of FINAL FANTASY, which went on to become the bestselling Magic set of all time. Marvel Super Heroes doesn’t have quite that much hype behind it, but it is a Universes Beyond set with the same positioning in the year. Engaged Magic fans who have already bought everything they need from Secrets of Strixhaven will use Mayhem to get store credit back on their Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Displays.

Magic fans who aren’t already on to the next thing will use Mayhem to grab whatever they’ve missed from Secrets of Strixhaven, the most recent Magic set which dropped on April 24.

Pokémon

Ascended Heroes will likely be the first Pokémon set on most fans’ minds. During last year’s Mayhem, fans bought heavily into Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collections, Elite Trainer Boxes, and Booster Bundles searching for four-figure Eeveelutions. This year, Ascended Heroes holds the same position in the year’s schedule, and boasts a couple four-figure cards of its own.

Chaos Rising releases just one week before Mayhem, so fans who couldn’t pull MHR Greninja ex during release weekend will use Mayhem to give themselves another shot.

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Released on April 17, Rarity Collection V has quickly become the most popular Yu-Gi-Oh! set in a long time. The long-awaited expansion introduced extended-art cards to the game, along with a special subset of reprints featuring cutesy catchphrases in English and Japanese. This is the Yu-Gi-Oh! set of the quarter, and very possibly the biggest release of the year.

Highly engaged Yu-Gi-Oh! fans who’ve already opened their share of Rarity Collection V boxes will be looking forward to Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery. Releasing a week after Mayhem on June 5, the set boasts the same combination of extended art and cutesy reprints that has made Rarity Collection V such a huge hit.

Other Games

By late May, Adventure on Kami’s Island (OP15-EB04) will be old news for One Piece fans. Instead, they’ll be looking ahead to The Time of Battle (OP-16), the upcoming set based on the Impel Down and Marineford arcs. Recent product shortages have caused frustration for long-term fans, so they’ll be eager to lock in preorders for a decent price.

The latest Riftbound set will release between now and Mayhem, on May 8. If it’s anything like Origins and Spiritforged, this’ll be another in-demand set that many players will struggle to find locally.
