Get ready for CookieRun: Braverse TCG’s newest booster, Festival Arena (BS12). Releasing on October 2, 2026 and prereleases beginning September 26, 2026, Festival Arena offers strong appeal for players and collectors alike.
Expanding the Meta
The publishers main goal with BS12 is to introduce new strategies without disrupting the balanced competitive-play that has developed following the release of The Dark Enchantress War.
Rather than making cards significantly stronger, Festival Arena is designed to give players more viable deck-building options across multiple colors. The returning Arena archetype plays an important role in this. Players can build new Arena-focused decks or combine BS12 Arena cards with cards from previous sets, creating new strategies while keeping existing decks relevant.
Not only is BS12 a standalone release, it also gives players a reason to revisit and purchase cards from previous sets.
New Opportunities for Every Color
While introducing new strategies, Festival Arena also strengthens existing mechanics across the TCG’s colors.
Yellow has one of the biggest changes in the game. Traditionally focused on healing HP and the Break Area, Yellow’s Arena strategy instead rewards players for building up Cookies in their own Break Area and turning that risk into aggressive pressure.
Black, first introduced in The Dark Enchantress War, also receives significant support in this release. BS12 expands its relatively small card pool and introduces additional deck-building options, including a new Ace option with Poison Mushroom Cookie alongside Dark Enchantress Cookie.
Other colors also receive new ways to play, including Red’s Active mechanics, Blue strategies that reference the bottom of the deck, and Purple’s Blocker mechanics.
Increased New Player Accessibility
When selecting Arena as a major theme for this release, developers had new players in mind.
Players can build a functional Arena deck primarily using readily accessible BS12 cards, making it easier to start playing without needing a large collection of cards from previous sets. At the same time, experienced players can experiment by combining older Arena cards with BS12 cards or adding new Arena cards into existing decks.
This makes Festival Arena a strong entry point for new players while providing meaningful deck-building depth for established players.
Cookies Take the Stage
Festival Arena represents a major creative departure for CookieRun: Braverse TCG. While previous sets closely followed the epic storylines of CookieRun: Kingdom, BS12 introduces a more original Braverse concept inspired by one of today’s biggest global trends: K-pop and Idols.
Each color has its own visual identity:

Many of the character designs were created as original Braverse-exclusive looks, giving fans versions of similar Cookies they have never seen before. The new artwork also incorporates idol culture, including photocards, selfies, fan meetings, concerts, and celebrity-style imagery.

Collectibility was another major focus during development for Festival Arena, with new signatures and artwork taking the stage.

- Rare/Secret Rare - “WE LOVE COOKIZ” Collection
- 12 Rare/Secret rare cards were designed as a connected collection. When all 12 are collected, the alphabet balloons held by the characters spell “WE LOVE COOKIZ.”
- The Secret Rare versions share a unified celebration theme while incorporating character-specific details, encouraging fans to complete the full collection.
- Connected 7-Card Artwork
- 7 regular-rarity cards depict stylists and managers preparing idol trainees for their debut. When all 7 cards are placed side-by-side, they form one continuous illustration.
- New Extra Rare Artwork
- Rather than using existing artwork, the Extra Rare cards feature newly created illustrations of the BAD4 members specifically designed around Festival Arena, adding further exclusivity to these low-pull-rate cards.
Collectibility Beyond High-Rarity Cards
Festival Arena’s collectibility doesn’t end with its high rarity cards. Many regular cards feature playful alternate scenarios based on each Cookie’s personality. For example, Sorbet Shark Cookie becoming a dance singer of Cherry Blossom Cookie attending a concert as an enthusiastic fan.
Even cards that are less directly connected to the idol theme include amusing visual storytelling and Easter eggs.
