For the second quarter in a row, One Piece managed to outsell a member of the Big Three. Yu-Gi-Oh! actually rallied in Q1 2026 after a weak Q4, helped along by the success of Burst Protocol. But it wasn’t enough to overtake One Piece, which dropped two sets in the first 60 days of the year as part of an effort to catch up the Western release schedule with the East.
Riftbound held its place in the #5 slot, continuing the momentum from its explosive debut last quarter.
Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Super Fusion World enjoyed the best three months it’s ever had in its two-year lifespan. The popular consensus is that after some speculators jumped ship from Pokémon to One Piece late last year and caused prices to skyrocket, other speculators started trying to guess what the next big game would be. They landed on DBSFW, another Bandai game with a recognizable shonen IP. The three latest Dragon Ball sets have outsold every other Super Fusion World release, and boxes of Manga Booster 02 have risen to a Market Price of over $500.

Lorwyn Eclipsed didn’t have the reach of a Universes Beyond Magic set, and established Magic players largely skipped TMNT. That left Pokémon’s latest blockbuster special set to take first place this quarter, as Pokémon fans have learned from Prismatic Evolutions, Paldean Fates, and Crown Zenith that the first set of each year is worth paying attention to. Spiritforged narrowly edged out Extra Booster: Heroines Edition for the fifth spot.

Playable Trainer cards (Pokémon) and Commander staples (Magic) continue to be in wide demand as the cards most likely to be shuffled up and played.
Interestingly, the Double Rare version of Mega Charizard X ex ranked at #8 despite not being especially playable or valuable. This could point to an audience of casual collectors that doesn’t fit the traditional mold of the hype-driven speculator.
