You don’t need to only consider rares and mythics when it comes to making a potential profit from cracking packs. Sure, your odds are higher that you’ll find dollar bills waiting in the upper rarities, but if all you do is shuffle to the back of the pack you’re potentially leaving money on the table. There are plenty of commons and uncommons worth $1 or more waiting to be pulled, and they can add up fast!

Innistrad: Double Feature is another much maligned Magic set. The saturated, black and white art treatment was quite polarizing, causing many players to balk at picking up the set and leaving some packs still sitting on shelves. However, that has had a potentially positive side effect of increasing the value of some of the unopened cards lurking in those packs.

There are a notable handful of staple cards from Innistrad that have slowly risen in popularity and value, with the polarizing art treatment making some of them more valuable. Once again (to likely no one’s actual surprise) the Commander format is once more the primary drive for value in the set, though some popular red spellslinger cards have also snuck their way in. Here are all the commons and uncommons currently valued at a $1 or more in Innistrad: Double Feature:

  1. Play With Fire
  2. Field of Ruin
  3. End the Festivities
  4. Fading Hope
  5. Infernal Grasp
  6. Voldaren Epicure
  7. Consider
  8. Kessig Flamebreather
  9. Otherworldly Gaze
  10. Reckless Impulse
  11. Morbid Opportunist
  12. Moonsilver Key
  13. Lunarch Veteran
  14. Faithful Mending
  15. Undying Malice
  16. Thermo-Alchemist

There are a few other cards that are constantly straying close to the $1 benchmark, so you have a decent shot of finding a nice little rebate in any given Double Feature pack. While not everyone loves these black and white cards, those that do are increasingly willing to pay a premium for them.

Anyone can sell these cards on TCGplayer. All you need to do is list your inventory! For your convenience, we’ve also included a downloadable CSV of the valuable commons and uncommons we’ve covered so far.
