We want you to have the best information available when you price cards on the TCGplayer Marketplace. So to help you get the most from your inventory, we’ve put together a downloadable CSV report of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that have dramatically increased in Market Price since the start of June 2024.

(Note: This report only considers Near Mint copies of cards with at least five sales between June 1 and June 12, 2024.)

Here are ten highlights from that report. First, we have the five cards that gained the most value in June 2024 after starting with a Market Price of $5 or less.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards $5 or Less

#5 Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix

  • Set: 2020 Tin of Lost Memories
  • Increase: +$2.70
  • Current Market Price: $6.49

The fan-favorite Salamangreat theme got new support earlier this year in Phantom Nightmare and Legacy of Destruction. That led to heightened demand for this card in April, which has translated to higher prices in June.

#4 Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer

  • Set: Age of Overlord
  • Increase: +$2.98
  • Current Market Price: $5.65

This card was hit by a huge buyout in mid-February, and a smaller buyout on June 8th has sent its price rocketing upward. So far, it has only appeared in rogue decks like Goblin Bikers and Minako.

#3 Revealer of the Ice Barrier

  • Set: Structure Deck: Freezing Chains
  • Increase: +$3.10
  • Current Market Price: $5.10

The Ice Barrier theme is about to get more support on June 21st when Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge releases.

#2 Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal

  • Set: Premium Gold: Infinite Gold
  • Increase: +$3.76
  • Current Market Price: $8.19

This is the oldest and rarest printing of Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal. Beatrice is expected to be a key Extra Deck monster in decks built around the Fiendsmith theme, which will debut in Japan’s The Infinite Forbidden set in July. Players are picking up their copies now in anticipation of the theme coming to the TCG.

#1 Fabled Lurrie

  • Set: Hidden Arsenal: Chapter 1
  • Increase: +$4.95
  • Current Market Price: $8.86

Fabled Lurrie is another card that will be mandatory in Fiendsmith decks once the theme arrives in the TCG.

Next, these are the five cards that gained the most value in May 2024 after starting with a Market Price over $5.

Top 5 Price Increases—YGO Cards Over $5

#5 Terraforming (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: Battle of Legend: Monstrous Revenge
  • Increase: +$11.66
  • Current Market Price: $106.28

As the fanciest version of Terraforming ever printed, this card is a must for players who want to max-rarity any deck with a Field Spell (which is most of them). With Battle of Legend: Monstrous Revent turning a year old this month, supply for this and other Quarter Century Secret Rares from the set is beginning to dry up.

#4 Granguignol the Dusk Dragon (Starlight Rare)

  • Set: Photon Hypernova
  • Increase: +$12.00
  • Current Market Price: $184.71

Granguignol the Dusk Dragon sees play in Branded decks, which have managed to place in the top 16 of multiple YCS events since April. Granguignol has only been printed in one set so far (Photon Hypernova), but it’s being reprinted in Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge which releases this week.

#3 Nightmare Throne

  • Set: Legacy of Destruction
  • Increase: +$12.60
  • Current Market Price: $45.95

Sales are up for Nightmare Throne in anticipation of Phantom of Yubel, a new Fusion Monster releasing in Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge that has pushed Yubel decks to the next level in Japan.

#2 Nightmare Throne (Quarter Century Secret Rare)

  • Set: Legacy of Destruction
  • Increase: +$15.60
  • Current Market Price: $167.76

The high-rarity version of Nightmare Throne is up for the same reason as the Ultra Rare version.

#1 Dandylion (UTR)

  • Set: Astral Pack 4
  • Increase: +$18.58
  • Current Market Price: $141.67

This version of Dandylion was released in a 2014 tournament reward pack, so it’s in extremely short supply. A higher-than-normal number of sales during the May 17 Mayhem promotion was enough pressure on that supply to raise the price.
