TCGplayer Mobile App Update: Supports All TCGs, Faster, and More Accurate Scanning

We’re excited to announce a major update coming soon to the TCGplayer mobile app that enhances the functionality, improves the user experience, and increases performance across the board. These enhancements will go into effect in the upcoming weeks.
Here are the key changes:
- Supports All Trading Card Games on the Marketplace. The mobile app will now scan every TCG available on TCGplayer! This upgrade expands beyond Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, allowing you to scan and price cards from any game on the marketplace.
- Faster, More Accurate Card Scanning. We built a new scanning engine that significantly improves the speed and accuracy of our card scanning technology. This means fewer errors, faster processing times, and a smoother in-app experience.
- Refreshed and Improved UI. The app’s interface will be more modern, intuitive, and visually engaging. The navigation will be improved, leading to better usability.
This upgrade is part of our commitment to improving our digitization technology for sellers at all stages in their selling journey. As a reminder, if you’re a Level 4 seller you can import inventory directly from the TCGplayer mobile app to the Seller Portal. Need help getting to Level 4? Please note, the ability to create a Listing with Photos via the “Sell” tab in the mobile app will not be available. However, you can still create a Listing with Photos via the Seller Portal.
