TCGplayer Names Aman Devgan Chief Marketing Officer

SYRACUSE, N.Y., January 25, 2021 TCGplayer, the leading online technology platform for the hobby collectibles industry, today announced that Aman Devgan will join the company as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Devgan will be responsible for leading the Company's global marketing and brand strategy.

Devgan joins TCGplayer from Upserve, a restaurant-focused software provider where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. He brings to TCGplayer more than two decades of experience leading product and marketing teams in high growth companies serving consumers and small businesses. Devgan has a track record of helping companies successfully scale and achieve market leadership.

The appointment of Mr. Devgan represents an important milestone in TCGplayer’s expansion efforts. As previously announced, TCGplayer is increasing its employee base by more than 40% over the next year, as the Company expands into new collectible lines of business. Today, TCGplayer employs more than 300 people, with active recruiting continuing for many roles. Additionally, in support of this growth, TCGplayer recently doubled its footprint in downtown Syracuse, having closed on a 33,000 sq. ft. office space in the Galleries building at its headquarters.
