Choosing which sealed products to invest in is an important decision for your business. The right products can yield big returns for your business in just a few transactions, but the wrong products can be a serious burden on your cash flow.

To help you pick the right products more often, we compiled a report of the top selling sealed products on TCGplayer last month. This report will show you which sets are most popular with players and collectors right now, so you can anticipate which products will be easy to sell online.

The report lists the top 100 sealed TCG products by total GMV between September 1 and 30, 2024. Below, we’ve highlighted five of those products. These products were chosen by starting from the top of the overall list and going down, taking the top product of each game that hadn’t been highlighted yet. The five products are ordered below according to their overall rank in the full report.

#1 Duskmourn: House of Horror - Commander Deck Display

Game: Magic: The Gathering.
Set: Duskmourn: House of Horror.
Released: September 27, 2024.
Market Price (October 7): $158.64.

At the top of the list, we have the biggest release of September. Duskmourn: House of Horror, like Bloomburrow before it, takes Magic: The Gathering in an aesthetic direction we’ve never seen from the game before, and fans have been thrilled by the homages to classic horror movies and tropes.

While Duskmourn sealed products took three of the top five spots in the full report, the Commander Deck Display came out ahead of both the Collector and Play Booster Displays. That speaks to the popularity of Wizards’ most recent precons, and to how Magic’s biggest format has completely overtaken every other mode of play.

#2 Stellar Crown Booster Box

Game: Pokémon TCG.
Set: Stellar Crown.
Released: September 13, 2024.
Market Price (October 7): $108.17.

At #2, we have the second-biggest release of the month. Stellar Crown has proven popular with both players and collectors—possibly thanks to its positive comparison to August’s disappointing release, Shrouded Fable. Shining like a jewel at the top of the set is Terapagos ex, an absolutely stunning card that also happens to be one of the strongest new attackers in the game. With relatively low pull rates and wide demand from across the fanbase, this card has managed to hold a Market Price over $100 and keep Stellar Crown Booster Boxes above that same threshold.

#3 Two Legends - Booster Display

Game: One Piece Card Game.
Set: Two Legends.
Released: September 13, 2024.
Market Price (October 7): $92.67.

One Piece has continued to prove itself as one of the biggest rivals to the Big Three, with each new set release ranking among its competitors. Two Legends continues that streak of wins with another set led by a multi-hundred-dollar Manga Rare card, and several SP cards that almost cover the cost of a box on their own.

The Market Prices of recent One Piece boxes aren’t way over MSRP like Awakening of the New Era, which indicates that Bandai is finally printing to demand. But judging by the number of boxes being sold, that demand hasn’t flagged.

#4 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors Case

Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors.
Released: September 19, 2024.
Market Price (October 7): $176.63.

No surprises here: the next biggest release of September takes its respective place on this list. The 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors is a reprint set released in tins that contain three “Mega-Packs,” with a huge set list and plenty of high-value competitive cards like S:P Little Knight, Triple Tactics Thrust, Bonfire, and Diabellstar the Black Witch.

#5 Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter Booster Box

Game: Disney Lorcana
Set:The First Chapter.
Released: August 18, 2023.
Average Product Value: $223.66.

With no new Lorcana release in September, and sales of Shimmering Skies naturally dropping off, The First Chapter reclaimed its spot as the bestselling Lorcana box this month. Prices for the set that drove a frenzy of speculation in 2023 have been fairly level since the last reprint in April, at over $50 above MSRP. It’s not clear if another reprint is coming, or whether a reprint would even manage to budge the price on the set’s Enchanted cards, all of which are still over $100 a copy—with Elsa breaking $800.
