The year is almost at its end! With the holiday season just around the corner, many TCGs are gearing up for the most hype releases of the year! To help our sellers make the most of this season’s product sales, we’ve generated a list of the top 5 most anticipated set releases for October through December.

Without further ado, here are the top 5 most anticipated releases for Q4 2023:

The next major crossover set for Magic: The Gathering arrives through time and space on October 13, 2023! Universes Beyond: Doctor Who is bringing characters, creatures, and memorable lines from the show Doctor Who onto the tabletop. Fans of the show will be able to play and collect all of their favorite doctors and companions, including decks featuring the popular Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler.

This set will also highlight travel through space and time by the inclusion of the planechase card mechanic featuring iconic locations from the Doctor Who series, as well as TARDIS inspired showcase card variants. This unique release will have massive attention from both Magic players and avid Whovians alike, making it one of the most hype releases of the end of the year.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet TCG is evolving to the next stage of gameplay with the release of Paradox Rift, arriving on November 3, 2023! This set will focus heavily on the paradox Pokémon found in Paldea’s Area Zero such as Roaring Moon ex and Iron Valiant ex, and will introduce the new Ancient or Future mechanic to competitive gameplay.

Tera Pokémon ex cards will also be making a return after their successful launch in Obsidian Flames. With over 180 cards and the inclusion of fifteen new Illustration Rares and seven Hyper Rare gold-etched cards, Paradox Rift will feature something for players, hobbyists, and collectors alike.

Yu-Gi-Oh!’s 25th anniversary celebration continues with the 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection! Releasing on November 3, 2023, this unique set features 79 player-favorite cards, all in foil and featuring brand new rarities. The 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection introduces two new card rarities which were previously not available in English: Prismatic Ultimate Rares and Prismatic Collector’s Rares.

Pull rates for this set have been updated to ensure “luxury rares,” with every booster pack containing two Super Rares, one Secret Rare with a 25% chance of a Platinum Secret Rare or a Quarter Century Secret Rare, and two Ultimate Rares with a 16% chance for one of the new Prismatic rares.

Releasing on November 17, 2023 is the next chapter in the world of Lorcana TCG, Rise of the Floodborn! This set will feature a brand new cast of Disney characters that have been transformed through the power of magical ink and taken on new forms. Characters such as Tiana and Winnie the Pooh will be introduced to the card game for the first time, as well as cards featuring iconic Disney films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book, The Great Mouse Detective, and Zootopia.

In addition to the expected main booster set to release in early November, Lorcana TCG will also be releasing a follow-up in the form of the premium collection product “Disney 100 Collector’s Edition.” This collector’s product will include 6 unique alternate arts of cards with designs by Disney’s animators as well as several Rise of the Floodborn boosters. This additional collector’s product will be released on December 1, 2023 just in time for the holiday season.

Awakening of the New Era, the next main set release for One Piece Card Game, highlights the Skypiea arc that kickstarts the Strawhat pirates adventures in the Grand Line! Players will also have the opportunity to include Revolutionary characters such as Sabo and Koala on their decks as they make their debut with this release.

In celebration of the one year anniversary for One Piece Card Game, Awakening of the New Era will include manga-themed alternate art for their leader cards, as well as highly collectible cards with art designed by the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda. This set will be released on December 8, 2023.
