We’re excited to announce we’ve updated our Yu-Gi-Oh! recognition software for the Roca Sorter! This new software allows the Roca to recognize the set and edition of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with much higher accuracy.

Check out this demo of the new Roca software, where the machine recognizes 20 copies of Mystical Space Typhoon and 20 other highly reprinted cards. Mystical Space Typhoon was chosen for this test since it has the highest number of reprints with the same artwork across several dozen different sets and editions. 


The Roca Sorter has an adjustable confidence setting (Best Guess, Standard, or Conservative) that is utilized to separate cards that the Roca Sorter has a lower confidence on so they can be reviewed after the sort is completed. In the demo video, the Roca flagged five cards as having low confidence, although it would have gotten four out of five of these cards correct.  With the remaining 35 high confidence cards the Roca recognized 35 for 35 with 100% accuracy! Overall, the sort resulted in 98% accuracy.
