The Battle for the Multiverse is about to begin! With the launch date for March of the Machine just around the corner, we’ve put together a complete breakdown of each of the card variants and unique printings connected to this upcoming set releasing on April 21. We’ll first cover some frequently asked questions about March of the Machine, then go through all the cards as they appear in numerical order.

Q: Where can I list the cards from the Commander Decks?

A: Cards that were printed for March of the Machine will be part of the main March of the Machine set. Older reprints that were slotted into the Commander Decks will be found in Commander: March of the Machine as they have a unique set abbreviation (MOC) and set symbol.

Q: Where can I find the exclusive cards from the March of the Machine Jumpstart Boosters?

A: All 15 of the exclusive March of the Machine Jumpstart cards can be found in March of the Machine, as they share the same set abbreviation (MOM) and set symbol as the main set. These Jumpstart Booster exclusive cards will have card numbers ranging from 323 to 337.

Q: Why can’t I list the Buy-a-Box, Omnath, Locus of All Promo Card?

A: Due to concerns from sellers and Wizards of the Coast’s policy, this card will not be available to list until release day (April 21, 2023).

Q: How can I tell if a card is a Variant Card in the Seller Portal?

A: All variant cards feature their Variant Type in parentheses after the card name. Examples of these will be (Borderless) and (Extended Art). When exporting inventory and sorting by card number, all Variants will be above card number 291.

Q: How can I tell if a March of the Machine: Multiverse Legends card is Foil Etched, Halo Foil or Serial Numbered?

A: While all March of the Machine: Multiverse Legends cards share a set symbol and the set abbreviation (MUL), these cards may also come in unique foiling treatments such as Foil Etched, Halo Foil and Serial Numbered. On TCGplayer, each of these foiling treatments will include the Foil Type after the card name:

  • Foil Etched variants will have (Foil Etched) written after the card name and feature different artwork and border treatment than other March of the Machine: Multiverse Legends cards. Their collector numbers span from 66 through 130.

  • Halo Foil variants share the same artwork and border treatment as the standard March of the Machine: Multiverse Legends card, but feature a unique foil pattern resembling an oily sheen printed on top. These cards will have (Halo Foil) written after the card name and collector numbers that span from 131 through 195.

  • The Multiverse Legends Serial Numbered variants will have (Serial Numbered) written next to their card name when listing on TCGplayer. These Multiverse Legends cards come with the same artwork and border treatment as the original printing in March of the Machine: Multiverse Legends, but will feature a serial number ranging from 1 to 500 on the bottom-left corner of the artwork.

Please note: We recommend sellers list these Serialized cards as Listings with Photos to better showcase these unique and incredibly rare card variants for sale.

In order to make The List work well with the existing catalog, we have set up the below guidelines:

  • If the card was previously printed as a non-foil only Mystery Booster Card, it will not be added to The List (this would duplicate the card in the catalog) - List with caution as copies of these cards are already in the wild, and cannot be presold.

  • If the card was previously printed as a foil-only Mystery Booster Retail Exclusive, it will not be added to The List (this would separate printings of the same card in the catalog) - The non-foil printings will not be listable until release day (April 21, 2023), and cannot be presold.

Cards from The List can be found in the below location from March of the Machine:

  • Set Boosters
    • Potential Slot: 1 token, ad card, or card from The List

    • Variant treatments will NOT be in promo packs

    • There will be overlap with previous curated lists. Because of this overlap, we will only be adding the NEW promos to a set called Promo Pack: Phyrexia: All Will Be One. This is because the cards are sorted into sets based on where the card could FIRST be located. As there is no difference between the versions that are in ALL previous Promo Packs, inventorying the items where they FIRST appear helps keep new items more orderly.
  • One dark frame common/uncommon card from a curated list (five total numbered 381–385)
  • One Arena Promo card granting an in-game pack (Regional; Where Arena is not available, Promo Pack: Phyrexia: All Will Be One will be three cards.)
