To the TCGplayer Community:

I am thrilled to introduce myself as TCGplayer’s CEO.

Though today is my first official day on the job, I am no stranger to the collectibles community. For a bit of background, I join TCGplayer from eBay, where I previously served as General Manager for eBay Canada, leading one of eBay’s key markets. During my five years at eBay, my work has focused on improving the customer experience in our Canadian market, helping Canadian small businesses grow their businesses globally and expanding our trading card vertical as part of our focus category strategy.

TCGplayer’s founders built this wonderful company to serve hobbyists and provide an inclusive workplace culture. I too am a champion of small businesses and local hobby shops. I am passionate about collectibles and the broader collectibles community. As CEO of TCGplayer, I will be just as committed to TCGplayer’s Purpose, Core Values and the community we serve. In addition, I will ensure TCGplayer is positioned for long-term growth and success, unlocking even more opportunities for you as our partnership with eBay deepens.

I want to assure you that this announcement will have no impact on our day-to-day operations or how we support you. We expect this transition to be quick and seamless for our stakeholders, and we remain committed to delivering the incredible service and tools our hobbyists, sellers and partners have come to expect from TCGplayer.

On behalf of all of us at TCGplayer and eBay, thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions about this announcement, please reach out to your usual contact or direct your inquiry to sales@tcgplayer.com.

Looking forward to building on our partnership in the months and years to come.

Kind regards,
Robert Bigler
CEO of TCGplayer
