On September 25, 2023, we’re making a change to our payment process that impacts the way you receive TCGplayer payments. We are committed to continuously improving the seller experience, and this change is part of our ongoing efforts to make it easier for you to sell on TCGplayer.

What We’re Doing:
In an effort to streamline operations, we're switching financial institutions from Bank of America to Wells Fargo. Starting 9/25, you will receive your TCGplayer payments from Wells Fargo.

Actions and Next Steps:
To ensure a smooth and streamlined transition, please take action on the following:

  1. Review your payment information. Review your seller payment information in the My Details tab of the Seller Portal. Please make any necessary updates before 9/12
  2. Look out for the penny test. On 9/12, we will perform a “penny test.” This involves us sending a micro deposit of $0.01 to verify and test the payment process in advance of the payment schedule.
  3. Notify your bank to safelist Wells Fargo for deposits. If your bank requires new bank accounts to be safelisted in order to accept deposits, please inform your bank that TCGplayer payments will now be coming from Wells Fargo.
  4. Recognize the potential shift in deposit timing. We understand Bank of America sellers are used to receiving funds the same day seller payments are made. You will be paid on the same payment cycles, however there might be a slight change in the timing when you receive funds since payments will be coming from Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo sellers may experience an expedited fund receipt due to the internal processing benefits.
