Syracuse, NY — August 2, 2019 — Survey results are in, and TCGplayer has once again been named a Great Place to Work by employees.
The Great Place to Work Institute helps companies create inclusive and effective workplaces for all. Certification as a Great Place to Work awards TCGplayer recognition among the top companies in the country and a chance to earn a spot on one of the Best Workplaces Lists, produced in partnership with Fortune Magazine.
TCGplayer once again scored highly across all five of the Great Place to Work Institute’s categories: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. More than 90% of surveyed employees agree that people here are treated fairly regardless of age, race, gender or sexual orientation, and 96% said that TCGplayer makes new employees feel welcome and at home. People feel secure in their jobs with 90% saying we wouldn’t lay people off and that we recognize honest mistakes as part of doing business.
Our progressive benefits also factored into responses, with 93% agreeing that TCGplayer makes it easy to take time off when necessary and 87% saying our benefits are special and unique. We offer unlimited paid time off, progressive family leave with up to 26 weeks off and stock options to all employees, starting from the first day of employment. We’re also proud that 95% of our employees feel safe here and cared for by their co-workers. Plus, 90% agree it’s a fun place to work where we contribute to the community.
