Save the date as the popular Japanese mobile game, Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story joins Weiss Schwarz English Edition, with the release of a Trial Deck+ and Booster Pack on February 26th! A spin-off role-playing game from the anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica, this new set features the leading game character, Iroha Tamaki, alongside other memorable characters from the franchise, Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe and Kyoko Sakura. The cards in the set can also be used with previous Puella Magi Madoka Magica releases.

Reliable Upperclassman, Mami (MR/W59-E005)

As a mentor to the rest of the magical girls, Mami Tomoe is a dependable sisterly figure who takes pride in being able to help others. Her nifty character card, Reliable Upperclassman, Mami attests to that.

When she attacks, she gives another《Magic》character a power bump of +1000, by the effect of her first ability.

In the event she gets defeated in battle, she sends her opponent character straight to the opponent’s stock, by the effect of her second ability, thereby removing a potentially strong opponent character from the field.

Offering a Hand, Madoka (MR/W59-E032); Another Hope (MR/W59-E054)

The titular character of the original anime series, Madoka Kaname is a magical girl with a kind heart who is always ready to help others in need, as illustrated in her character card, Offering a Hand, Madoka and her CX Combo, Another Hope.

On her own, Madoka draws strength from other《Magic》characters on the field and gets a power boost of +2000 while healing 1 damage, by the effects of her first two abilities.

With the AUTO ability gained via her CX Combo, she deals an additional 3 damage when her opponent character gets defeated in battle.

Single Point Breakthrough, Kyoko (MR/W59-E066)

With an unyielding spirit and a straightforward personality, Kyoko Sakura has no qualms when it comes to clashing with others. That is why she is a force to be reckoned with, as exemplified by her character card, Single Point Breakthrough, Kyoko.

If the character card, Emergency Reinforcement, Sayaka is on the field, she gets a whopping boost of +6000 power, by the effects of her first ability.

Kyoko is also a great asset to have in any red deck, as she can reliably deal with pesky level 3 “early play” cards with her second ability.
