On March 26th, Weiss Schwarz English Edition welcomes another new title Date A Live, with the release of a Trial Deck+ and Booster Pack! Adapted from a popular light novel series of the same name, its anime series ran for 3 seasons. This set based on the latter, features the protagonist Shido Itsuka, alongside other well-loved characters such as Tohka Yatogami, Kotori Itsuka, Origami Tobiichi and Yoshino Himekawa.

“Terrible Spirit” Kurumi (DAL/S79-E053); Fearless Smile (DAL/S79-E073)

Known for her brutal acts against humans, Kurumi Tokisaki is a dangerous Spirit who does not have any qualms when it comes to hurting others, as illustrated in her strong 3/2 CX Combo, “Terrible Spirit” Kurumi and her climax card, Fearless Smile.

By the effects of her first two abilities, she gets a power bump of +1000 while healing 1 damage.

Her CX Combo ability allows her to perform one of the three following powerful effects; from messing up an opponent’s stock, to shuffling non-climax cards back into their deck to decrease their chance of canceling, or to dealing direct damage to the opponent – there’s nothing that she can’t do!

Naïve and Innocent Girl, Tohka (DAL/S79-E081); Delicious Date (DAL/S79-E099)

After having her powers sealed by Shido and being new to everything on Earth, Tohka Yatogami takes on a lively and child-like personality, as recreated in her formidable 3/2 CX Combo game-finisher,  Naïve and Innocent Girl, Tohka and Delicious Date.

By the effects of her first two abilities, she gets a power bump of up to +2000 while healing 1 damage.

With the ability gained via her CX Combo, you can put up to 3 cards from your opponent’s waiting room on top of their deck in any order. This removes their chances of revealing a climax to cancel any incoming damage before Tohka unleashes an onslaught of 5 additional damage to secure victory!

With Candy in One Hand (DAL/S79-E023); Special Existence (DAL/S79-E024); Brunt of Fury (DAL/S79-E074)

In addition to the strong cards that can be found in this set, this title is the first in Weiss Schwarz English Edition that allows the construction of an 8 Choice or 8 Standby deck.

Introduced to the game in late 2019, the Choice icon found on the yellow climax cards, With Candy in One Hand and Special Existence offers flexibility in maintaining a healthy hand size or building up your stock, as the game progresses.

An old-time favorite, with the Standby icon found in Kurumi’s 3/2 CX Combo earlier, Fearless Smile and another red climax card, Brunt of Fury, you can overpower their opponents with higher level characters at minimal cost.
