The USPS will update postage rates starting Sunday, January 27th. Along with other changes, the price of one-ounce stamps will increase $0.05 from $0.50 to $0.55. The price to mail letters over one ounce, however, will decrease by $0.06 per extra ounce from $0.21 to $0.15.

First Class Packages will move to zone-based pricing, so it will cost more to ship these packages longer distances. However, this is still the most affordable option for shipping products under a pound.

You can keep shipping your products the same way you do today, as it’s still the most effective and affordable method.
