I hope that you, your families, and your employees are safe and well.

As I consider all the changes that March 2020 delivered to the US, and to the globe, I am most saddened at the impact it is having on all of you, and hopeful that we will get through this together. We have all seen massive turbulence in our business and personal lives, and disruption that has led to many businesses choosing to move their operations home, and others needing to consider undertaking significant changes to how they operate, just to maintain.

The hope I feel is based on the feedback that we have received from many of our seller partners. That feedback has been that TCGplayer is a crucial part of your business continuity and cash flow, and that we are a key and necessary part of your work. Believe me, everyone at TCGplayer understands their responsibility deeply and feels connected to their work like never before, knowing how critical it is for each of you. Most importantly, that sense of hope is focused on our mutual partnership, and knowing that we as sellers and a marketplace are all part of an ecosystem that helps make people happy, as they seek fun, challenging entertainment during a difficult time for us all.

With the challenges we are all facing now, it is a time when adaptation and preparation will provide both immediate and long-term results. Our TCGplayer team is working to plan & prepare for the next several weeks of change, and part of that work is taking actions that will have an immediate impact, and the balance of the work is taking actions that will continue to prepare us for the months ahead. Here are a few updates that we believe are meaningful to your businesses, and will help in the days and weeks ahead.

The Marketplace Supports LGS

We very much want you to be able to take advantage of this fact, to continue to generate yourselves revenue at a time when cash flow is so important. This has become the central rallying call for all TCGplayers, and is part of our external messaging to Buyers and through our partners, like UltraPro who is doing an LGS push across many online channels.

Digitize Inventory

The TCGplayer team has assembled information that can help sellers make good use of their time and inventory to maintain cash flow. With that in mind, our team member, Collin, developed a training document to help explain how to quickly organize and digitize a significant amount of inventory. Taking the action of digitizing more inventory will allow you to queue more inventory for sale now, and will prepare you to scale this process to more employees in weeks ahead.

MassPrice Update: Scheduler

We are also happy to share a much-requested feature improvement to the MassPrice tool. This update, which is live now, allows you to schedule pricing rules to run at a time of your choice.
