On February 11th, we will be launching Awakening of Chakrabarthi, the much-awaited fourth Booster Pack for the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress series!

On top of support for all existing Ride Lines, including the newest ones from Start Deck 06: Mirei Minae -Sealed Blaze Maiden- and Booster Pack 03: Advance of Intertwined Stars, this product will also include new ace units featured in Season 2 of the animation!

Without further ado, let’s check out some of the featured cards to look out for!

Vairina Esperaridea

Taking the overDress mechanic to the next level, Vairina Esperaridea possesses the ability to bring together all Trickstar and units with the overDress ability from your drop as this unit’s originalDress!

After your vanguard attacks, pay the cost to not only restand this unit, but also for it to gain +5k Power for each of this unit’s originalDress until the end of the turn, making it a perfect late-game finisher!

Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana

Turn up the heat of your battle with Nirvana’s new form, Mahar Nirvana!

As long as you have a unit in the overDress state, all front row units get +10000 Power! Even if you are lacking a Trickstar to perform overDress on, not to worry! When this unit is your vanguard, you can superior call one from the drop by paying the cost! In addition, if your opponent has four damage or less, you deal one damage!

Diabolos, "Unrivaled" Bruce

Full power and no mercy, “Unrivaled” Bruce is what your Bruce deck needs to score that touchdown!

As long as this unit is fielded as your vanguard, the field is set up for your Diabolos units to shine!

Unlike the original Bruce, this one packs a greater punch as you can pay the cost and restand all of your front row units (yes, including your vanguard) for another wave of attacks!

Apex-surpassing Sword, Bastion Prime

Surpass the apex of your cardfights with Bastion Prime!

Similar to Bastion, all your front row units automatically get +2000 Power as long as you have Bastion Prime as your vanguard!

To spice things up, if you reveal a grade 3 or greater card (which is relatively easy to achieve) during your drive check and put a Bastion card from hand or soul into your drop, you can restand all grade 3 rear-guards! Not only that, they each get 10k Power until end of turn!

Sylvan Horned Beast Emperor, Magnolia Elder

Magnolia takes on a majestic and powerful new form!

When placed as a vanguard, you can superior call a card from soul, making units with attractive on-place abilities like Panthero ideal options to consider!

In addition, this unit can grant the same abilities plus intercept to all rear-guards as long as it is your vanguard and have Magnolia unit(s) in your soul!

Aurora Fierce Princess, Seraph Purelight

“Taking you in” can only get more intense from here for Seraph Snow decks!

While Seraph Snow has the ability to imprison up to two units, Seraph Purelight ups the ante with its on-place ability that by paying the cost, imprisons two cards each from your opponent’s hand, rear-guards, and soul!

As long as you have ten or more imprisoned cards (more than half of this requirement easily fulfillable by its first ability), go for the sweep with its second ability, which grants all front row units an additional critical!

Trickmoon

Trickmoon may look somewhat familiar, but not to be confused with the iconic Trickstar of the same nation!

Trickmoon is essential in unlocking Bavsargra’s full potential; featuring the new DressBoost ability, it grants +10k Power for each card Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra is Armed with!

In addition, this unit can Counter-Charge 1 when placed on your back row center from drop; definitely needed for managing resources required to activate Arms!

New Draw Triggers!

Trigger units with additional abilities made their debut in Booster Pack 02: A Brush with the Legends in the form of Front Triggers; this time, its Draw Trigger counterparts make their debut in this product!

These Draw Triggers are very useful in battles especially after your opponent’s vanguard reaches grade 3, so be sure to secure some of them for your decks!
