Preview season came so fast, we had to do a double take! This week marks the release of Double Masters! While these reprints are exciting, they can be a bit challenging to navigate in your store’s inventory. First, we’ll cover a couple frequently asked questions about Double Masters, then go through all the cards in numerical order. 

Q: Where are the Box Topper cards listed?

A: Because these Box Topper cards can also be found in VIP Edition, they are located within the Double Masters main set, denoted with (Borderless).

Q: How do I know which cards are exclusive if they’re all in one set? 

A: All cards numbered above 332 are Box Toppers or are exclusive to VIP Edition.


TCGplayer Set Name: Double Masters

Cards numbered 1/332 through 332/332 are your main set items. These can be found in all the normal locations, as well as in few other places:

  • Booster Boxes/Booster Packs (Draft Boosters)
  • VIP Edition Boosters (Foil-only versions)

Full bleed alternate art cards numbered 333 through 372 (with no denominator) can be found ONLY in the following locations:

  • Draft Booster Boxes
    • Two non-foil borderless cards are included as box-toppers, sealed within Double Masters Draft Booster Boxes
  • VIP Edition Boosters 
    • Two foil borderless cards included in each pack (foil borderless cards are only available in English and Japanese)

Basic Lands numbered 373 through 382 (with no denominator) can be found ONLY in the following locations:

  • VIP Edition Boosters 
    • Ten non-foil full-art basic lands (2 of each basic)
    • Two foil full-art basic lands (2 randomly selected from among the 10 options)

Alternate Art Chord of Calling & Wrath of God (Set Abbreviation 2XM, numbered 383 & 384) can be found ONLY in the following locations:

  • Distributed with Double Masters Booster Box purchases
    • Shipped with any online orders of a full box of Double Masters at your discretion*
  • Distributed at Launch Party Events: 
    • IMPORTANT: In-store play, including Double Masters Launch Party, is currently suspended in the United States and Latin America. Those regions may run remote Launch Parties, in the Sealed Deck format.

Cards are numbered the same as their non-foil Main set counterparts, but can be found ONLY in the following location:

  • VIP Edition Boosters:
    • Two double-sided foil tokens

*Note: Due to the  COVID-19 pandemic, Wizards of the Coast has made room for sellers affected by the virus in  their Retailer Agreement, specifying that sellers may ship Chord of Calling and Wrath of God with any online order of a full box of Double Masters at the seller’s discretion.

Similarly, Wizards of the Coast has instructed retailers to distribute Prize packs as sales incentives.
